There should definitely be some sort of way for a player to know about this function

Agreed, it'll be part of our "onboarding overhaul" that we're looking into.
Would it be for the next update then? Or will it be more machine events and polish first?
I cannot give you any date on it, except that it'll definitely not be for 27. It IS a point on my list of things, however.
Any technical reason you cant make the drop pod BIGGER? Would allow her to just be in the middle and walk out with the players (after they're all out)
Technical reasons? No. Design reasons? Lots. :D
Can we get the reinforcement pods as starting pods in single player?
Not really the place to ask but I've been thinking about all those empty seats recently
Doubtful. The single-seater pods are designed for one (1) dwarf and nothing else. Would be hard work stuffing Molly, Bosco, AND all the loot into that little thing.
Just to clear up a few things:
- There is no such thing as "wasting a key" - once you have the Tritilyte Key, it is yours forever, and returns to you upon use.
- Judging from this thread, it's possible we may need to tweak some numbers. I'll send this on to the correct people and we'll look into it.
You'll be pleased to know that we fully agree, and that concept work is being done RIGHT NOW for a full overhaul of the Wardrobe menu. :)
More information as we get it!
Since I've seen others that weren't aware of this: Try hitting TAB while on the Space Rig!
To be fair, molly does seem to do literally everything in its power to make the dwarves' jobs harder.
Management would like to remind all valued Mining Personnel that the MULE and its onboard AI was developed at great expense by the finest minds of DRG's research department. Any shortcomings in the MULE's performance can only be down to user error. Your complaint has been noted in your employee profile and may be a point of discussion at your next performance review.
The Drop Pod itself is due a proper overhaul, including a proper bot-bay for Molly to exit from. A sort of extending crane lowering her to the ground is what I'm thinking for now, but this could obviously change before we get that far.
The Summer Sale started rewarded people for reviewing games. I think it was a response to the whole race thing, where people misunderstood the whole thing with winning the top game from their wishlist, and pruned their wishlist of indie games. This lead to a huge drop in wishlist numbers for a lot of games. When they started encouraging reviews, reviews exploded for a lot of games with supportive communities.
Holy sh*t this is amazing!!
Pinging u/robert_gsg in case he, as the God Of Artwork, hasn't seen this yet... can't be that hard to assign overlays to everything right? Or am I simplifying it too much? You're the art man, you can tell us if this can be a thing for the next update. :)
We've seen it and are well aware of it. :) The question is not so much technical as it is a design decision - if it is something we WANT to do. There's obvious advantages to it, but likewise it has disadvantages as well, and we need to consider the ups and downs carefully before making decisions on things like these.
As mentioned elsewhere, we're aware and fixing it, but deploying the fix will have to wait until tomorrow. We'll reset the progress, so you can retry to get the reward.
