This likely happens when the user had a linked account to his Steam account earlier and had refunded the game.

That's not possible despite if the admin provides the map.

Do you have any firewalls or antivir software installed? In that case, please disable both for testing.

Please have him contact [email protected] in regards to this matter. Maybe he has linked a SLG account? I'd need the SLG ID.

/give Ecoylent would be the obvious choice, but the hunger is a core game mechanic and cannot be disabled. It really shouldn't either.

If you are using a mount with "." you need the f, even if there wasn't one before.

There is no further changes to the system requirements planned, but Eco is planned to be developed indefinately, hence when new technologies become available, Eco might make use of them.

Linux is supported for dedicated servers as of 9.0, but singleplayer follows in a later patch.

Your mod files are corrupted. Save your storage folder, uninstall Eco, remove the whole Eco folder, reinstall Eco and copy the storage folder in again.

Since PVP will never be a thing in this game. Will we ever see NPCs that could be hostile towards the players?...

Make sure you have the correct type of power - we have mechanical and electrical power. Power range is extended by every object that uses power automatically.

Hey there,
stealing and murder will never be added to Eco, we want it to be a peaceful game.

The kickstarter goal of a justice system is not yet implemented, but the intention is to remove the automatic enforcement of any laws (you simply cannot do something, when there is a law that prohibits you) to allow players to still break the law and being able to be tracked down by other players in order to deliver the punishment. How this will be done exactly is not clear yet, but likely both ways of using laws would be possible in the future.

Hello,
yes - i understand what you mean now. But this is actually intended.

The map is just a world file, it does not include the configuration, the configuration is global for the server with which the world is being run. You can change these settings at any time in the /steamapps/Eco/Eco_Data/Server/configs directory. Difficulty can be found in the Difficulty.eco. Meteor Time you can find in Disasters.eco.

The reason for that is that singleplayer pretty much is a server and on servers you only host one world at any given time, otherwise you need a second config directory. Implementing the settings into the savegame might be something to think about, but it would be hard to do it in a way so only singleplayer is affected, as admins might want to change stuff on their servers while the game is running in the old school way.

If you want to play with one of the earlier settings on a different map, you can ever change the configs before booting the ser... Read more

The setting was moved to Mods/AutoGen/Plant and has to be set for each plant you want to adjust.
