@dadester We'll have to circle back with the team in a bit to see if there is any additional information they can provide.

As for anything players should be providing, at this point, the only thing of note would be detailing experiences and providing video if possible with FPS counter and outlining your PC specs. Also would be good to know if players are running add-ons and how many. Just something for us to consider as well.

@Four_Fingers Thanks for the feedback. We do want to note that since this is an area for lead farming, you will encounter some dips there due to many players trying to lead farming in that area. However, we have passed this on to the team. They are aware of the issue and will continue to monitor.

Hi @Ufretin. We are aware of the bug from other threads noting a similar issue. The dev team is working on a fix for this. We'll update once we have more information to share. Thanks.

Hi All, we wanted to address one last question here regarding names that don't infringe on copyright.

Destai;c-7629782

Just for additional clarity - if someone changes one character or includes the name of an asset like an armor set or zone, is that subject to discipline?

Using some examples, which of the following could be subject to discipline:

Abnor Tharn

Abnur Thorn

Chokethorn Julianos

Greenshade Greg
Thanks for the question, @Destai. We are talking about exact name matches for the most part. So all of the example names in general should be fine. Derivatives of core names are fine as long as they are distinctly different. So for example "Abnor Tharn" is different from "Abnur Tharn". The "u" and "o" in the first name are different. So you would be good. If you were to use "Abnúr Tharn" as the character name, you may be asked to change the... Read more

Hi All, we are aware of this issue and investigating now. We’ll follow up with any additional info or temporary work arounds as appropriate.

Thanks for the info! We'll work on getting this issue fixed.

@allochthons Thanks for reaching out. Has this happened more than once? If you are able to replicate, could you get a clip of this happening? This would better help detail this issue to the Dev team. Thanks!

Did you happen to be in Castle Navire? If so, there's an open issue where some NPCs will unintentionally cause you to get bounty which we'll be fixing in a future patch.

Thanks for the feedback here. We have passed this on to the Dev team to investigate. For now, players who encounter this issue should try to relog in as that was proven successful from other users. But just wanted to highlight that the team is looking into this issue to avoid quest looping with Ember's quest.

We accidentally forgot to include this in the patch notes initially (guilty...) but just added a write up to explain what we added and improved for HDR! For visibility, here is what was added to the patch notes just now:

HDR Improvements
We had previously made improvements to our console HDR implementation by adding a new hue-preserving mode (Default), but it lacked proper settings for configuring it to fit your viewing environment and display and the “HDR Brightness” slider never functioned properly. In Update 34, we’ve addressed this by adding several new configuration settings:

HDR Scene Brightness

HDR Scene Contrast

HDR UI Brightness

HDR UI Contrast
These allow you to adjust the brightness and contrast levels of the game and UI independently, and to what best fits your environment.

Additionally, we have refactored and fixed the old brightness slider and named it “HDR Peak Brightness.” ... Read more
