Now is your last chance to pre-purchase the Necrom Chapter to receive the Sadrith Mora Spore Steed mount and the matching Sadrith Mora Spore pony pet. Grab your copy before April 18th to receive both!
While there’s much to look forward to with the Necrom Chapter coming in June, from the Necrom Prologue Quest to upcoming in-game events, players have lots to look forward to in the meantime.
Coming with Necrom is a new 12 player trial, Sanity’s Edge. Travel into the mind of a Mage’s Guild warlock to fight off a malevolent force bent on breaking him. Players completing the trifecta achievement will be handsomely rewarded.
The Bastion Nymic World Event draws players into an ancient citadel within Apocrypha that is under assault by the same conspiracy of forces you encounter in the Necrom main quest. This world event is a unique, daily instanced quest that players will get to explore.
Players will also visit a never-before-seen area of Apocrypha. Enter Chroma Incognito, the colorful, kaleidoscopic portion of Mora’s realm where the Daedric Prince hoards his secrets that do not exist on the pages of books.
Two new stand-out Companions await in the Necrom Chapter. Players will meet Azander, the Redguard mad mage from Apocrypha, and Sharp-As-Night the hardened Warden mercenary and bounty hunter.
The Necrom Chapter will be set in the lush and verdant Telvanni Peninsula of Morrowind and the Oblivion realm of Apocrypha. While both are unique in their own right, familiar elements make these zones feel like coming home.
Wield the powers of Apocrypha and play as the all-new Arcanist class, part of the Necrom Chapter.
The Arcanist class uses a points system, called “Crux.” Some abilities generate Crux, while others spend them. Players can use Crux they accumulate during battle to combo into more potent abilities.
Our dev team took lessons they learned from designing past classes, creating three approaches to combat for Arcanists players: The Apocryphal Solider, Curative Runeforms, and the Herald of the Tome.
In creating the Arcanist, the developers worked to create a distinct class that looks and plays differently, from the color choices to the abilities themselves, which was partly inspired by the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC.
The Arcanist is the seventh class in ESO and is thematically woven into the fabric of the Necrom story. The Arcanist draws on the power of Apocrypha and seeks out as much knowledge as possible.
Hermaeus Mora is the Daedric Prince of Secrets, and in this year’s Chapter, you’ll uncover the important secret at the heart of the Necrom storyline—a secret so big, it threatens to unravel reality itself.
This year’s Chapter will be steeped in cosmic horror with a focus on extraplanar magic and secrets that mortals are not meant to know.
We’re LIVE from Las Vegas for our #ESO Chapter Preview! As part of the #ShadowOverMorrowind adventure, players will visit the Telvanni Peninsula and city of Necrom, as well as the realm of Apocrypha, and have a chance to play as a new class—the Arcanist.
