Just to add to another user's comment, you can claim a Steam partner key from https://www.frontierstore.net/frontier_partnerkeys/. This will allow you to redeem ED on Steam which will give you the "launch with steam vr" option.

It's 2023, and I have a top of the line RX 7900, which has GPU spikes when jumping systems.

During supercruise, GPU is around 60%, when jumping, spikes to 80-90%.

Resolution is 3840 x 2160, Ultra. frame limit set to 144hz.
