Hi everyone,

We just wanted to advise you that the Singularity test server will continue to be inaccessible to players throughout July and August unless needed to test a specific feature or perform a mass test.

We’ll provide a further update as we approach September.

Hey there!

When a character in a player corporation earns an EverMark, the corporation earns 1 EverMark (regardless of tax rate) as well. Corporation EverMarks can be used on SKINR, which can be used to personalize Upwell Structures owned by the corporation.

Personal EverMarks can be used in Paragon stations to unlock corporation & alliance emblems for every ship.

Sorry for the misleading update. The Singularity Test Server is utilized by our teams to make sure updates and patches correctly deploy to a server environment similar to that of Tranquility.

I do not have an exact timeframe of when it will return, and instead of giving an errant estimation I’ll update this thread when there is a firmer timeline for Singularity.

While this was going on, we were able to capture and fix an underlying issue which causes killmails to not generate. So hopefully this is the last one that needs to be manually regenerated!

For those wondering what versions of Microsoft Excel this is compatible with.

Excel custom functions are available on the following platforms.

• Office on Windows

  • Microsoft 365 subscription
  • retail perpetual Office 2016 and later

• Office on Mac

• Office on the web

Excel custom functions are currently not supported in the following:

• Office on iPad
• volume-licensed perpetual versions of Office 2019 or earlier

Yes, but that doesn’t always work - possibly there is some delay before Windows Update starts delivering them. I had the next-to-last signatures on my desktop from earlier today and Windows Update did not update them this evening. Using the instructions in the original post then they were updated.

For reference, the VirusTotal link for the file reported: VirusTotal. No engines there detect anything and we are unable to reproduce this using Microsoft Defender with the latest signatures as of this evening.

We’ve had multiple tickets submitted over the last hour and we’ve become aware that old versions of Windows Defender are incorrectly flagging EVE files as a Trojan and quarantining them. The files seem to no longer flag as problematic as of update 1.391.1678.0 (from 16.06.2023 @ 21:48:23).

We are raising the issue with Microsoft, but if you are encountering this issue, we recommend you update your Windows Defender Signatures to resolve the problem.

To do this:

• Search in Windows search for “Virus and Threat protection”
• Under “Virus & threat protection updates” click “Check for Updates”
• Click “Check for Updates”

I will update this thread when new information becomes available.

Launcher
There are some cases where the launcher cannot download parts of the Viridian patch

Gameplay
Mining lasers do not work. A fix for this our highest priority.

Audio

• Hangar atmosphere audio can be very loud upon docking
• Various atmosphere audio is persisting longer than intended and following the player

Graphics

• Structure modules are not updating correctly after SKINR nanocoat application. Any applied nanocoatings should be rendered automatically once the issue is resolved
• Applying SKINR nanocoat to structure causes corporation/alliance banners to slowly fade away
