Hello everyone,

Today, 10 June, our daily downtime will be extended over the standard 15 minutes allocation and take between 20-30 minutes total. We expect Tranquility to be back accepting connections by 11:30 UTC at the latest but will bring the server back earlier if work on the backend goes smoothly.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

Hey there - yes DX12 is actively being worked on. I wouldn’t want to put a timeframe on it lest it raise expectations, but it’s in development.

Well, I have good and bad news. It seems like the character selection fix works - but the crash fix needs more work. :frowning:

Hey,

We just updated Singularity with a patch, which should fix the stuck character selection screen. The crash issues related to the new weapons should hopefully be fixed as well.
edit: Unfortunately it seems like the crash fix did not work. :frowning: Back to the drawing board.

Indeed, we just updated Singularity with a patch, which should fix both the character selection screen issues for the new skills, as well as the crashes relating to the new weapons.

Hi
Thanks for flagging.
I’ve just tested with and without CAS, and it’s very similar with it disabled:

I’d love to see higher resolution textures in the future :grinning:

I’m just going to say, to be very clear, that this is not a separation I recognise or see as an element of CCP’s game development. I was attempting to suggest this thread on the Invasion Chapter 3 feature FAQ continue to be about it and what touches on it specifically, rather than a general discussion of how lore is delivered in EVE.

Thanks,
DZ

2.Specifically restricted content.

EVE Online holds ESRB Teen and PEGI 12 ratings. All content posted to the EVE Online forums must be teen rated.

In addition to this, the EVE Online forums are not for discussion of real life current affairs, news, politics or religion. Discussion should revolve around EVE Online and its community.

For these reasons, specific content is prohibited on the EVE Online forums. These are:

Pornography
Profanity
Real Money Trading (RMT)
Discussion of Warnings & Bans
Discussion of Moderation
Private communications with CCP
In-Game Bugs & Exploits
Real World Religion
Real World Politics
Content that distorts the forum layout

All of this is inaccurate. CONCORD do not control all capsuleer cloning contracts. They don’t control all cloning facilities. They don’t even control all FTL comms infrastructure. Moreover, the implication that capsuleers require a fluid router chain between them and their cloning facility’s built in fluid router is not true. The Blackout wasn’t about clone personality transmission, it pertained to every other critical...

Hi everyone,

We’re now entering the second weekend of the the awesome Invasion Chapter 3 content that was released on 26 May. Since the launch, thousands of capsuleers (or kybernauts, if you prefer) have been striving to advance their cause in systems all across New Eden; whether it be for EDENCOM or the Triglavians.

We’ve seen EDENCOM lock up a significant number of systems, meanwhile the pro-Triglavian kybernaut forces have managed to make Raravoss into the first final liminality system in New Eden and are now fighting hard to also lock in Vale.

Whichever side of the fight you’re on it should be clear by now that you’re involved in one of the most significant, high-stakes struggles in the history of EVE Online!

During this time we have been watching closely to see what issues might have arisen as this chapter unfolds, and Team Event Horizon has prepared this Q&A below to respond to some of the most common questions.

If you have any additional que...

Known issues:

  • The graphics of the Stormbringer, the cruiser version of the EDENCOM ships, is still WIP and missing textures (= showing completely black).
  • Several of the new items are still missing correct icons.
  • Being investigated: Client crashes (possibly related to using new Vorton weapons)
  • Being investigated: Unable to load character screen with some new skill in the skill queue.

Hello everyone,

The Singularity Test Server has been updated with some of our upcoming content and we invite you to log in and test it to your heart’s content!

Remember that what you see on Singularity today is not final and is subject to change based on feedback and final touches of our development teams, before it arrives later this month on Tranquility.

What’s new?

An exciting quality of life feature has been added that will let players return to the Character Selection Screen to select a different character on the account without needing to log out of EVE Online. The team would be interested to hear if anyone is experiencing issues with the following:

  • Returning to the Character Selection screen when in station or space.
  • Character specific data such as chat channels, login rewards, contracts, etc. overflowing from one character to another.
  • All in-game sound effects are stopped and only the music from the Character Selec...

To add to this, we’ve been looking into the issue and it seems to be a problem with the intro movie. Hitting escape closes that movie and then everything else seems to work fine.

We’re working on a fix for that but this workaround should hopefully work for you guys in the meantime.

The zoom on the planet is supposed to be showing what bad sharpening looks like :grinning:

…to illustrate the type of issue that can occur when sharpening is applied incorrectly. There is artifacting at the edge of the planet, the gradient has lost its smoothness and the surface of the planet is starting to look too pixelated.

There was a problem with the moon image in the devblog. It seemed that the dimensions / zoom went a bit wrong. We’ve replaced it with a better version....
