I really do appreciate the sentiment here, but if I can provide a bit more context. As a player, I was very honored to serve on the Council for CSM 6 & CSM 7 - I have nothing but respect and admiration for the institution and fellow Council members who devote their time to such a cause. Upon joining CCP I can say, unequivocally, that respect is mutual.

CCP greatly values the work of the CSM, the Industry Changes and overall ecosystem updates couldn’t be done without their valuable contributions and insight. We also spend a good deal of time interacting with the community and relay some fantastic conversations and information through you all bring to the table.

Hi. Other than ensuring you’re running the latest version of the launcher (1892908) and selecting Singularity with the Launcher on a macOS system, there are no other settings that need to be changed.
Try restarting the launcher and checking for an update.

The engineers had a bit of a breakthrough late this afternoon; it looks like an object/memory leak in the camera that ultimately manifests as audio issues.

I’ll gladly provide a little bit of background and update:

The recent patch deployed on Tuesday 13 April included the following change:

  • Removed empty Asteroid Belts that have no asteroids left available.

As part of the greater EVE Ecosystem updates dating back to last year, a number of systems in null-sec contained Asteroid Belts that were completely depleted and barren of resources. These Asteroid Belt beacons were the source of some confusion as players would warp to these locations in hopes of finding asteroids. This patch removed the beacons for those already-barren Asteroid Belts to alleviate some of that confusion. However, this clean-up adversely affected several null-sec regions of space - in some cases leaving them without any venue for Asteroid NPC pirates.

While we are aware of the playstyle surrounding these pirate NPCs, namely Officer and Commander hunting & ADM building, we didn’t fully take into account how some areas of space ...

Hi. The Native Mac Client will not be reaching Tranquility in 5 days time. This is a time-limited test for Singularity only.

We have no dates, even internally, of when we will launch the Native Mac Client. There is a significant amount of data we need to go through from this test and defects we need to investigate.

A date will be communicated in advance of the Native Mac Client being released on Tranquillity.

Hmmm, that’s a bit weird. Can you please confirm the launcher version? How did you check that the Wine client did start? Is your launcher installation in any way different to a standard install?

I was talking to one of the audio devs, the cause has been found and we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Remember that Moby Dicks’ favorite trick was to seem to flee; sound (dive) and then turn and breach in the midst of the whalers attacking their ships :expressionless:

While we won’t have voting directly in the client, we are planning to have in-game campaign to raise awareness and direct people to vote. We might be able to squeeze some new things but these are still work in progress

Thanks - this one is listed in the second post and I believe is already fixed internally

Thanks for the feedback!
The jump issue was likely because the system hadn’t been loaded by the server yet. Usually happens if you’re the first to jump in. Once it’s loaded, it should be fine after that point

Thanks for the feedback!
Consider the UI scaling option over changing the resolution. While decreasing the resolution can help with performance, it may make the image look less sharp as a result.
Either way, I’m glad you found a solution for now

I’ll check out the trackpad and make sure it’s responding to the options in the settings pannel correctly  Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback
Turning hardware acceleration on inside the launcher, if not enabled, can improve things a lot. It is now default enabled on new installs, but settings were not changed on existing installs for the moment. I’d be interested to see if this helps improve the problem
