Flee moves the Troop down one slot per proc.
If it’s moving multiple times it’s probably related to this bug report.

We should have more improvements going out for the lag in the next week, but the team are still working on further improvements as well and we’ll have an additional team member working on it next week as well I believe.

I appreciate everyone’s patience with it, I know it’s an incredibly frutrating issue.

I’ve locked this thread to the crazy amount of community guidelines breaches regarding callouts.

I’ve also gone through and deleted posts that broke the rules.

If you suspect someone of cheating, there is a report button in game you can use to report them privately to the team so they can check it out.

If you want to ask about game rules, that’s fine, please don’t include any screenshots or identifying account details though.

In regards to the questions:

  1. Account sharing is allowed.
    Hot seating is discouraged - we currently do not have a problem with players hot seating so this isn’t something that needs to be addressed currently. If it starts becoming a problem we will review that.

This was possibly fixed before Christmas when there were general fixes to the way the buckets for PVP were populated, let me know if you are noticing these small level windows still now.

This request was actually already made :slight_smile:

I’m hoping where/how Medals are displayed, kept and set will be reviewed at some point in the future.

However, we currently have no set in stone plans for that or a timeline for it, our current development schedule is very full but this request is on the radar of things to consider reviewing in future.

We had senior programmers working on it before Christmas and since we got back from Xmas/New years break our Tech Lead is working on it himself actively, like right now as I type this.

I need to read up in here tomorrow but just wanted to pop in to give an example of how this isn’t true:

We currently have a bug where gnomes drop their loot even if they run away.
This bug is in the backlog.

The bug we plan to fix first in the next 48 hours is the missing January monthly login reward calendar.

This is just one small example, but also the timing of these 2 things and how they’ve been prioritised was sort of perfect for this thread lol.

Just a rough guide to how bugs are prioritised and it’s certainly not as simple as this list but it goes something like:

  • Game blocking bug: some examples:
    • Swathes of players cannot access the game at all
    • Core game play feature completely blocked and unable to be accessed/used at all
    • Purchase issues affecting an entire platform (either cannot purchase or can purchase but rewards not received)
    • Server down
  • Feature not working as intended...

Update:
I did find something that looked odd thanks to Dust Angel’s battle logs.
I’m making a full bug report now.
It was a tricky one as it is being counted as a kill but it looks strange in other places

I’ve added this info to the Damage efficiency section of the Point scoring article for Guild Wars while the team are looking into it:

Currently Gnomes are dropping loot even if they run away and it’s directly tied to Troops fleeing due to Terror counting as kills. So if Terror flees aren’t counting as kills, I need specifics, because it’s not only been working, it’s been working so well it’s even affecting fleeing Gnomes :sweat_smile:

I’ll test in PVP.

Edit: Also just to be clear I’m not doubting the reports, just trying to get any specifics I can for the bug report and wanted to mention how it’s intended to work and that it did pass testing so if it’s not working this was a reverted issue :frowning: I remembered after posting this that you all can’t see my body language or hear my tone and you may not know me well enough to know wha...

Hey @Ripplin ,sorry about this issue!
We don’t normally all take the christmas break at the same time, and we do have staff on call for critical game blocking bugs but this year we did shut down support for the week for a much needed break. I hope you had a good holidays too.

I’ve had a look into what might have happened, but unfortunately the issue on my side isn’t obvious so I’ll have to escalate this to a programmer.

Thanks for the videos. Trying to work out a better name for the bug report to the programmers as my brain is just saying “Terror shennanigans” which isn’t a good bug name but it is reported nonetheless!.

Edit: it’s fine my brain started working again and I went with ‘Terror status effect causes Troop card overlap and phantom troop in battle’
