This is unintended. There is supposed to be a weekly limit for Skirmish tickets and we will be fixing this.

Unfortunately, yes - Instance checkpoints are currently linked to story progress, so when you're replaying the story and enter an instance out of sync with your story progress, you will start back the beginning.

That said, once we started using this checkpointing system we immediately identified this exact issue as something to address in the future. So it's something we're aware of, I just don't have a solution for you right this second :\

Thank you for your comments - As the one who put this specific instance together, I really do appreciate your constructive feedback.

I admit it was risky for me to forcibly push non-instance-owners to the sideline like this, and it didn't really work out as well on live as it did in testing :\ As such, I'm currently trying out a few things to make it less of an annoyance for non-instance-owners, while still maintaining the singular-focus this particular instance requires - I can't promise any of it will work out and make it into a patch, but I feel it's important for you to know I'm able to realise when I have a little egg on my face, and that I'm willing to work with the community to make changes that improve gameplay.
