I just wanted to drop by and say that we ran into this a lot during internal group testing. There was even a time when the slubling could stomp downed players. Ryan D discovered and then promptly abused this fact to stomp me full of sodium.

you can buy it again from the vendor in Tarir, as far as I know.
This is correct. Once you've completed the instance, the Exalted Mastery Vendor, in the Legacy Pillars area, will sell you a replacement Exalted Portal Stone if you lose the one given to you at the end of the instance.

Ah. You shouldn't be able to pick up another player's torch but unfortunately there's currently a bug that allows it. This will likely be fixed tomorrow but the workaround would be to select the Ice Wall and then press F. Sorry about that.
