I'm sure new dank memes will arise in the future. It's inevitable.

Hello /u/ANET_Blonk, it's entry number 7. The deer is lying there. When I go to the deer on the cliff, I get an event where the two legendary tigers should appear, but they don't (can see the event to top right of screen).

To the north of my location, an event spawns, when I go there, it just loops around to get to the cliff again. Some people have managed to get through this.

People are also struggling to get the event to spawn on the Hunter's Bane part of the collection. Thanks.

Have everyone leave the event area for 30 seconds and come back, that should reset it.

Glad you liked it! As Charrikayu pointed out, this work was to get it into gliding shape - lots of invisible walls, low res props without collision, etc that needed fixing. I had some extra time so I did polish up, rework the newly accessible areas a bit - esp the Smelter, above/below the Gladium Canton (plus some added scaffolding outside you can get to), and around The Bane.

Lots of pretty epic new spots for screenshots too. Happy exploring!

Anyone able to confirm whether this is still happening?

Nope, not forgotten! There's been some work done related to the "stuck bug" I mentioned before that I was hoping might help with this one (it's possible they have similar underlying causes). Have you seen this issue lately?

I play one and Izzy was happy to point out to me that Ranger wasn't getting a note. He's really that cruel irl 😂

We are indeed fixing it, and the 2nd bug is why the item had to be disabled.

The good news is the most recent hotfix should fix the 2nd bug. The item will be re-enabled in the next couple of hours, once most people have updated to the new build.

It's an old bug that got reintroduced. It's happening everywhere, not just PvP too. Anet still hasn't acknowledged it.

I just added it to the Known Issue Tracker, but I have it flagged as a PvP bug. Are there special circumstances in which it appears outside of PvP, or does it seem to happen any time you see someone get downed?

P.S ur my favourite dev @GM_Awesomeness <3 you truly are awesome dude. mucho respecto.

D'awww, thanks!

Re: this bug: Could it be a variant of this one? "Characters become stuck when dodging or using certain skills"

Do you actually get the "immobilized" debuff, or do you just get stuck in the air?

We're working on a hotfix right now. A few other points:

  • Every patch is a bug fix patch! The number of fixes varies, but they all contain at least a few.
  • The Known Issue Tracker will be updated before I leave the office today (I've been waiting to see what gets fixed in the hotfix patch since updating it is kind of a pain). You should see many bugs moved into the "recently solved" section.
  • We're putting out a giant patch in April, which will contain many fixes as well as quality-of-life improvements. Stay tuned to our blog for an overview of that.

its only been what...a year now?

They're being actively worked on. Once our tools are back up, I'll be updating the Known Issue Tracker and putting this bug into "verifying" status, meaning we think we've found a fix and are testing it.

It's definitely a problem that Reddit seems to work better in some cases. But as far as using the web form vs emailing, there is literally no difference in who works the ticket. They both go into the same queue and are worked by the same agents. Any difference in outcome is purely coincidental.

Glad this got resolved, and good call on adding authentication!

Going through the "official" channels I was denied twice, the hacker installed an authenticator on the account which apparently supersedes all the proof of ownership I had. This went for weeks before I was 'officially' denied the second time. Oh and they complained about me opening multiple tickets for one issue after I was denied the first time (you know, the minor issue of trying to get my f**king account I spent 2 years playing back).

Apparently when you play from Australia for 2 years then suddenly you start logging in from Korea, install a (previously unused) authenticator, move your character to a major city, sell literally everything possible to sell on the trading post, then mail the gold to somebody else, that's not at all suspicious behaviour worth investigating.

It wasn't until I directly e-mailed the support e-mail (NOT going through the official "help me" account page) literally begging them for help that I got a response g...

I'm sorry your first two experiences were so terrible. Were they somewhat recent? If so please PM me with the ticket numbers and I'll make sure we investigate what went wrong. Edit: just noticed you said in another comment this was a year or more ago.

For what it's worth, there's no difference between emailing Support directly and submitting via the website. You end up talking to the exact same people. Submitting through the website is actually better, because then we can get accurate data from you filling out the web form rather than having to reply back and forth asking you questions.
