Hi,

When I try to launch the game, I'm getting this error and I don't know what it is about...

Any idea how to fix this? Already tried verifying my files...

- What version of Windows are you using?
- What graphics card/video driver are you using?
- Do you have both the game and the Uplay PC Launcher on the same hard drive?

Mine was hard to find but if you go to "device manager" on your computer, double click "display adapters" you should find your graphics card there. So find your graphics card on the website and manually download the update. Nvidia recently released a huge update on June 24th, 2020 and a lot of people had trouble downloading it automatically so your best bet us to download via their website. I hope this helped some people!

Hey guys! I'm sorry to hear justinurbutt's fix didn't resolve the issue for you all. Please make sure you have the latest version of Windows installed, and have gone through the rest of the steps listed in our basic PC guide. I'd also make sure you have disabled background applications as that guide suggests, since this may also be preventing the game from launching properly.

Orange_sniper13, I'd suggest looking over the system requirements for Hyper Scape to see how your system specs compare! You can also upload your MSinfo file in a case to our support team. They will be able to investigate your file and provide further insight for you!

NICSU_42, can you please try installing both programs on the same drive? It has also helped a few of our other players to install the game again while performing a clean boot.

I can see this thread has gained a lot of posts recently so I'd just like to make sure you have the latest information.

We are currently investigating this issue on our side to determine why it is affecting some players. In the meantime, the following workarounds have been helping players -

- Re-install the game
- Update your graphics card drivers

Hey Ezequieel.-.,

Were you able to get Hyper Scape to run before the closure of the open beta? If not, could you please advise us of the full list of troubleshooting steps you attempted, so that I can recommend further ones for when the main game goes live?

I'd also like to ask whether you opened a support case for this issue? If so, could you please provide me with your case reference number?
