3:26 AM Seeing a lot of errors in the logs. No clear idea of what cause is yet. SQL showed a sudden spike preceeding event. Then returned to normal. Not outright down, but degraded to the point everything times out. More to follow.

3:33 AM Im giving the engineer space to work, but he told me he has restarted everything and that might help things while he investigates the problem. I'll give him the space he needs, report to you when I can. I have now loaded successfully into a prospect.

3:38 AM okay im kicked from the prospect, like others, after loosing connection. Engineer is investigating. Restart didn't fix it, so needs to take a close look at it. Tough work for him so I'm giving him space - sorry folks - only can be patient now I know thats not easy.

We are still only scratching the surface of what "session" can mean, as we learn about the game and what its capable of being. Session doesn't have to mean "short". it's about choosing world parameters and (maybe) a purpose.

Agreed - the solo play needs work. It is absolutely something we want to expand upon a great deal more. Hopefully with some of the updates coming this week.

Absolutely - we had planned to do these kinds of changes this weekend. But a number of users have had a lot of problems, so we have been focused on trying to help them. We will continue to rebalance and adjust and consolidate the tech tree etc... and add requested features.

A great question around this was raised by a customer. To do so, would break the game entirely. We have enough things to balance, without destroying the reason for playing the game. We plan to substantially expand the items you can purchase with exotics ... carefully... so we can rebalance them cautiously. But we will NOT make exotics purchasable with real world money. You are prospectors - your reward is the exotics to spend on your future missions.

There are no plans, nor mechanism, for us to offer the "exotics" currency for purchase. It would break the entire premise of the game, and remove the whole point of doing the missions. So you can rest assured, we are not allowing you to purchase exotics directly. You need to complete missions to get it.

Really sorry for the trouble folks and the rocky launch. We will have this update out in 2 hours, maybe less. It takes a long time to build and deploy to steam. We will keep pumping out updates to fix bugs, we're sorry for disrupting things for you.

There is a fix for some of these issues on the Experimental branch, and we will be pushing an update shortly to fix even more of these issues. Sorry!

More localization updates are coming for players who don't play in English.

The backpack was something we'd been thinking about for a while, and was a popular request on Feature Upvote too. Only 1-2 days ago we started work on it, so we're pleased we got into the game pretty quickly.

Fabricator rebalance, shadow fixes on foliage and mountains, and a backpack!

Our first patch is out. We are focused on being just as responsive as we were during the beta weekends now we have transitioned into a live game. We have big plans with what we want to do, but these require us to continue to fix the game and implement things - and we appreciate the community help in doing this.

- Fixed issue where the First Cohort Envirosuit or Fur Armor may displayed incorrectly during the skinning animation.
- Fixed issue with shadows being displayed incorrectly on the distant mountains.
- Fixed issue where some of the new foliage for wild crops could have their shadows display incorrectly at a distance.
- Fixed issue where some translated text was not displayed in the correct language.
