Ah, this is actually working as intended. If you hold the Alt key while looking at the Blood Pact node, you’ll see that it does not affect the upfront mana cost added by Dark Shackles. Sorry about the confusion.

I’ve just checked the node and it correctly has a duration of 4 seconds. Perhaps you’re seeing some other buff expire?

There is a hotkey that disables the tooltips of items on the ground, which is set to Z by default. It sounds like it must have been enabled by mistake since you aren’t able to pick up any items. Sorry about that!
