Hi there,
Would you be able to post your system information? It should be possible to attach the file to a forum post by clicking on the button above the text box in the composer window.
Currently the game client can be slow to get going, which we will be improving in future patches. The time estimate you’ve provided sounds excessive, but without knowing details such as the Operating System or SSD / HDD in question, it’s hard to say for certain.
Hi there,
If you haven’t already done so, could you please try verifying the game’s files?
I should note that we do only technically support Ubuntu, though I wouldn’t expect users of Linux Mint to encounter problems that people on Ubuntu don’t, and a friend of mine has been playing Last Epoch on Linux Mint without running into any issues.
Do you happen to know the manufacturer & model of the HDD or SSD you’re using?
Heyo,
Would you mind elaborating on the issues you’ve encountered for us?
If the problem is with the Launcher as indicated by your thread title, installing the game through Steam would indeed work around the issue. We have a guide on how to do that here.
If the problem is with the game itself starting, I wouldn’t expect doing so to help - unless some of the data was corrupted in the first download, in which case downloading it again would get around that. I only ask because I know it can take a while for the game to download, so I...

Could you please upload the file as an attachment instead of splitting it over multiple posts?
You should be able to do so using the button.
Heyo,
Thanks for pointing this out!
We currently plan to make changes to both the functionality and the tooltip in Patch 0.7.7.
Thanks for the post!
Moving from #feedback-and-suggestions to #bug-reports.
Hi Omnitrio,
Could I check whether you’ve tried playing at 1080p as I suggested on Discord?
Support for void spells, and void damage focus in general is definitely currently lacking in the Void Knight tree, and this is something that we’re planning to address in a future patch.
I’ve fixed this for you now.
Thanks for continuing to support us!
It’ll be a while yet; our last content patch was only two-ish weeks ago.
Heyo!
Thanks for the feedback thus far.
Graphical improvements typically come in the form of us doing a pass on particular aspects of the game - it may be textures, post-processing, ambient occlusion, etc. While individual assets are sometimes tweaked outside of these, it’s looking likely that our next pass on graphics will focus on lighting. I’m not able to offer an ETA for these changes landing just yet, but we’ve some changes internally that we’re super excited to show off in the future!
From an optimization standpoint, we’ve been creating new shaders for outside zones which are more performant - and these have resulted in some subtle visual improvements, too!
We’ve been working on new sound effects - currently, a lot of the wo...
Read moreHi there,
At release, Last Epoch will support both online-only, server-side characters and offline-only, locally stored characters. Currently only the latter are available - and so, unfortunately, when you reinstalled Windows the save data stored on your system would have been lost.
Just to clarify, is this early access as opposed to beta access? Is beta access revoked at that time? It's a little confusing - If I buy a supporter pack now, with "Immediate access to beta", what happens in that April period?
Reading further through the post - Is this just a "non-beta discount release purchase" supporter pack option, and the Ardent Gladiator with beta still gives access to (pre)-release version?
People who pre-ordered the game prior to 2020 will gain access to the beta in April. The beta will continue until the game launches, and we will continue adding more content and improvements to it during that time. There will never be a point at which anyone loses access to the game.
My apologies for the slow response here!
Unfortunately, it seems that your PC does not meet our system requirements, specifically your GPU.
Because a log file is not generated, that means the game fails during the inital load process. Your GPU has 1.5GB of VRAM when our minimum requirement is 2GB. So, I would recommend upgrading to a newer graphics card, ideally with 4GB of VRAM or higher. An RX 580 of GTX 1660 should suit you well, in terms of new graphics cards.
If Last Epoch is installed on a Hard Drive, you could also...

Could you please attach the game’s log file to a response so that we can look into this for you? You should be able to do so by clicking on the button and then browsing to the file.
Heyo,
Could I ask where you checked that?
If on Steam, it shows the date the game became available through Early Access last year. It’s been a while since I went into the store page’s backend, but I would be surprised if we are able to manually change that. I could check this tomorrow if you would like.
Well, it is a gameplay bug since the shields won’t follow the player when they would otherwise. Anyway, thanks for the report!
Thanks, the skill scales 4% per point of attunement.
