We’ve been looking into this since your bug report.

Could you please try setting Terrain Quality to Very Low and see if the issue persists?

We’re working on a fix which will be included in Patch 0.7.2.

  • What is the manufacturer & model of your HDD or SSD?

Please provide the following information;

  • Can you confirm whether only the End of Time zone is affected?
  • Which video card and driver do you use? (e.g. RX 580, AMDGPU)
  • Knowing the specific version of the graphics driver may also help.

Thanks for the feedback.

Can I ask which resolution you’re playing at? It’d be useful to know this when looking at possible changes in response to your feedback regarding the size of item names.

While we do plan on having a death penalty, we don’t expect one-shots to be common at release (unless you specifically choose a glass cannon build). We’re sensitive to the potential for a perceived punishment to feel unfair if you didn’t make a mistake, but we’ve also seen games where the lack of a death penalty can be quite unhealthy for the game.

Thanks for taking the time to make such a detailed write up. A lot of your points and suggestions are good ones. I’ve made a note to look back at them when we come to change the tree.

In particularly I agree that the existing options for DoT specialisation and stacking damage over time are lacking and future changes to the tree should address that.

In terms of some of the more transformative node suggestions:

  • Volatile Ether is a cool node that wouldn’t be difficult to implement and would provide a different damage pattern, so it’s a good candidate for being added.

  • Soul Infestation sounds like it would feel really good to use, but it’d be much harder to implement and balance. I don’t want to rule it out though.

Small thing first, but with my Mage, if I had an empty skill slot and I hit the corresponding key, the spell cast animation would go off. Not sure if it’s always the case or happens only in some circumstances though.

Hey thanks for the answer. I hope you guys keep up the regional pricing via steam for ingame purchases too (like using steam for cosmetic points with regional pricing) . Seeing such fair pricing for other currencies simply makes spending on a game feel so much better! Also bought and currently downloading your game!

Hey there! It's pretty far out to tell at the moment. There's a ton of factors involved in this decision as well. All I can really say is that our mtx will be less than some other companies. I know we've all agreed on that and stated it in a public setting before. Don't know if that helps!

There will be information available on mouse-over. The current intention is to have that take the form of regular tooltips, however this hasn’t been implemented yet so is non-final.
 

If a single row provides insufficient space, a new row will appear above the existing one.

Last Epoch is in beta. This means that the game is still under active development and not yet completed. As a consequence, some Quality of Life functionaity may not yet be available.

I’ve raised the issue internally as I previously said I would, and while work on this has not yet been assigned to someone and given a priority, I’ll continue to speak with the team about it and ensure either that it happens, or that we at least have a reason for it not happening.

Bug reports and suggestions on improvements go through different processes, and are handled by different teams (though admittedly we do currently have substantial overlap). As an argument on whether something is a ‘bug’ or ‘defect’ is not constructive, I’m locking the thread.
