While I agree that the current functionality should likely be revised, this isn’t technically a bug and so I’m going to move the thread from Bug Reports to Feedback and Suggestions.

This isn’t, strictly speaking, a bug.

If you do not mind me jumping ship. May I ask if this game will be sp with a local multiplayer like grim Dawn or will it be fully online la POE?
At release Last Epoch will have both offline-only characters played locally (similar to Grim Dawn), and online-only characters played in a server-authorative environment (similar to Path of Exile, Diablo III). It will never be possible to take a character previously played offline to our servers, though we've discussed possibly allowing online characters to be duplicated for offline play. Another thing we'd like to do is offer LAN support for offline characters, however we're unlikely to have the time to get this done in time for launch.
So where can i see my melee critical strike multiplier? I still don't know if the item works or not... IMO one of the most important thing in arpg's is that the players sees the progression via stats and character sheets.
Like Ekimarcher said. It's a system we're currently working on. He's one of our programmers.
This isn’t how it works currently, and we don’t presently plan on changing that.
Specialize into a skill and you’ve access to the tree in its entirety.
Thank you for the report!
Could I ask for a screenshot of the item in question?
Thank you for the report!
Could you please post a log file after the next time this happens?

Here’s an image which may help clarify how it works;
You can unlock access to the locked section of only a single mastery.
Hiya,
There are unlocked and locked sections of class masteries. You’ve access to the base section of all three, but you can only access the top (‘locked’) section of a single class mastery.
The idea is that you can only become a single mastery in earnest, but you have access to some of the less distinctive powers of the other masteries. Hope that helps clarify!
Hey there!

Hi there,
You can indeed! Please see this support article;

For the benefit of other forum dwellers, here’s my response to this;
Hi there Katzeo! So, at release Last Epoch will support both online-only and offline-only characters. The former will be stored server-side and gameplay involving them will be server-authorative. The latter will be played locally. It will never be possible play a character on our servers if it has previously been played locally. While we haven’t made any commitments yet, we’ve discussed the idea of being able to duplicate an online-only character for offline play. If this is implemented, it’s unlikely to be done in time for release.
Sorry, nothing as of yet. Going to be a bit. We're focused on releasing the rogue in a much more polished state than some of our other releases have been. This way, we're not playing catch up and players can have a better first experience with the class.
Thank you for the continued reports.
It would be helpful if anyone affected could post their resolution. Thank you @ReimerhArts for already doing so. We believe this may be tied to certain aspect ratios.
Don’t worry about it!
It should be possible to shatter a fractured item, but there’s a known bug preventing that at present. We’ve created a fix for this which will be included in the next update.
Ah, sorry about that.
Can you please link us to the file on another site, then? We do need to see it.
Let’s rule out software conflicts with other programs on your PC.
Could you perform a Clean Boot? Microsoft has a guide on how to do so here.
In addition to the game folder there’ll be some entries in the Windows Registry.
We recommend not editing this, as doing so incorrectly can cause significant issues such as preventing Windows from booting up correctly.
