Your build sounds decent but I would encourage you to think when other Mythics could be better. Most of the items that people are building on Live are familiar but not necessarily optimal. I'd expect them to get closer once the season starts and people have time to try out different things. Theoretically, I'd expect Rocketbelt and Night Harvester to be situationally good. (harvester if you are taking lots of group fights and Rocketbelt if you are playing against a champion that is hard to gap close against eg. Orianna, Xerath, etc.) I would not expect harvester to be performant against someone like Xerath at diamond or above as you are paying a lot of opportunity cost by not being able to force engages with Protobelt. However, if you're not that high, then kitey champions are probably frequently mispositioning, so Night Harvester might still pay off. At high ELO, I wouldn't expect that to happen as often, though. Liandrys is likely decent against multiple tanks.

I pretty much learned soley for arigarumi but since learning I have done a scarf or two! I make my cats a lot of catnip stuffed toys. I'll probably start a few beanies here in a bit since I have so much left over gradient yarn but not enough for a blanket. Might try my hand at a little legend once I'm better at my fundamentals.

Raptors is almost always the better option, you get full gold, its still a big camp to lose and its really accessible due to its position meaning its easy to slip in and out. Its also a camp the enemy jungler for sure wants to take whereas some junglers hardly touch their krugs.

Eh, there's more you could do here.

Counter-jungling a camp does two things:

  1. I get Gold/XP
  2. You don't get Gold/XP

Making up numbers, if Raptors is "+200/-200" and Krugs is "+100/-400" then taking Krugs is still potentially the better choice. There are other considerations like how likely is the enemy jungler going to come back to this camp before it respawns (as you mentioned) and smaller points like how much time would they have spent on the camp itself. Raptors may well be the right call, but denying the full value of Krugs to an opposing jungler is relevant, too.

Comment

There's one thing missing from this analysis:

How good is Krugs compared to each of the three other camps?

This is a good analysis for "Krugs are better on not-Ivern if they can take them efficiently." But there is still relevant information missing like, "no, really, it's half as much as Wolves, don't even bother." Because your teammates can't always hit that camp. (And then there's also a minor point in that Ivern, like all junglers, gets more XP from camps than non-junglers. Not enough to make up the difference, but still relevant data.)

Ah. Morde was buffed because he feel outside of the bounds of the league balance framework, not because Liandrys rylais combo was removed. The patch notes could have been worded better, apologies for that.

Comment

The intention for the morde change is that he has choice for his item purchases. From our perspective it is not desirable that each champion only has one mythic item that they can purchase, but instead have multiple based on the game state. Morde only purchasing Rift maker when he could otherwise consider purchasing Rocketbelt is not a positive outcome. Similarly, being able to choose utility (Rylais) vs damage (demonic) in the second slot and take a tradeoff is desirable for the same reasons of experiential variety for the player and opponent.

When I see all the amazing cool content that this company pushes out, and how big the universe exploration is getting, it makes me happy that Riot still takes time to listen to us and communicate with the player base.

It always seems like they never forget about us and that even though they are a mega-corporation, they actually have the player experience at heart and make games because they love them, not because of the money. Seems like the money comes when people actually enjoy and love making these games.

It’s true that the scale of what Riot is doing grows with every year. It’s also true that we believe that focusing on the core game experience and making that the best we can is our core focus.

Thanks for the kind words. Happy holidays. :)
