I think it has already happened a bit right? And will likely continue to happen. But no one has nailed the "great" experience yet (imo), which is why I still want to see more.

Something that is fun, can be played with friends, and doesn't require me to check in EVERY DAY in order to be competitive. And also hopefully something that can keep me coming back week over week, even if i start to suck. Just give me epic losestreak rewards xDD

Well I responded to a tweet from Quickshot where he said EULCS was looking for a new caster. So I just linked a vod. Everyone has different paths, but improvement on base skills is always more important than a resume

To reiterate, KhaZix and other stealth champions stealth to create kills, Duskblade stealths once the kill is already secured. Very different levels of power.

search "caster" here on the sub and you'll probably find leagues looking for casters!

Yep, we did operate a traditional fantasy league game for NA/EU back in the day. I think it was retired around 3 years ago.

I still think the space is ripe for exploration, we just didn't have the best implementation at the time imo. It was actually a similar issue to last year's pick'em. Once someone lost a few early matches, there was no incentive to keep playing.

The item patterns are functional, we just need to tune the numbers to get it closer to live power.

Duskblade is interesting because it's the item that's power is most contingent on the Lethality system's overall strength. To clarify, the stealth is powerful, but is only on take-down, so if the overall damage of assassins is tuned properly, they should still have to work hard to get that first stealth reset, because if they don't get the kill then the stealth is actually a useless power-budget sink.

That said, on PBE assassins have been overtuned generally, so they are picking up their kills too reliably and therefore accessing the stealth more frequently than normal. I don't see a reason the stealth can't stay, but it is very reliant on us doing our due diligence on the rest of the system to ensure it's not too reliable.

You are correct! This is a small change we made this year to help keep Pick'em interesting throughout the tournament.

Also, it definitely wasn't targeted at anyone (me) who always misses all their quarters picks (nope) and then ragequits before semis even begin (never).
