It's a harmless (and random) survey that actually does tell us quite a bit. We take peoples' answers, analyze their matches, and pull data based off of it. There are other games that have a similar after-match survey setup.

Reminder: You receive the trophy pet through a redeemable code, that is sent via email. Please triple check your inbox, spam, and promotions folders. If it isn't there by now, contact our support team and they'll make sure you get it.
P.S. Please be nice to our support team when you contact them.
Note: This was a data only deployment. Players will not need to update their client as a part of this maintenance.
The code for the trophy pet will be in your email within the next 72 hours.
The Rotting Regisaur card style is listed for an incorrect price when purchasing it through the Deck Builder. As a result, the Daily Deal price of 750 gems appears incorrect as well.
We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience.
We have recently taken action against players for in-game misconduct related to abusing the timer system (“roping”). In addition to player reports, we also looked at multiple data points over an extended period of time to help us identify which players we believe were deliberately misusing this system before taking action against their account.
The timer system is an important feature in Magic: The Gathering Arena and is designed to allow for additional time to handle complex board states or the occasional real-world disruption. We intend for players to use their timeouts as necessary while also ensuring matches come to a timely conclusion. We were careful to only act against players who we can conclusively prove deliberately and consistently abused this feature.
Players will be notified through email if they were flagged for misconduct, as well as what actions were taken against their account.
Thank you to all of our players for their reports, as w...

Per our State of the Game, we're having an AMAA on the MTG Arena subreddit today! Now is a great opportunity to ask Jay Parker, Chris Cao, myself, Megan, and (a different) Chris questions that you might have. The AMAA starts at 11am PT.

P.S. Going to say this before the replies start here... Please ask your questions there, not here. The AMAA is on the Reddit link above.
Unfortunately this forum is for MTG Arena chatter only. For example, you could talk about what MTG streamers you're watching. Sorry about that!
We're in closed beta right now, and it's limited to NA and EU right now. Sorry about that! You can find more info here.
Technically the first Planeswalker?
(This is a joke.)

@DonTheMage:Can you guys please add Kaladesh and Amonkhet already? It's not a hard task, it's already done. I'm tired of waiting :(No Pioneer on Arena = No money spent on Arena. We're working on it! Adding in that many cards isn't an easy task.
They're not "already done," unfortunately. Wayyyy too much has changed, and they have to be reworked. Also those cards have to be tested against a whole array of brand new cards and interactions.
I'd love to get my Anointed Procession back, but we have to be patient. :slightly_frowning_face:

Question.
Can you clarify in relation to the Find Your Champion competition how many times you can enter as the Terms do not state whether it can only be your Account email or whether you may have as many entries as you have working email accounts?
Beyond that, loving the workshop and Festival ideas.
One submission per MTG Arena account.
So it seems like 10K gold a month to brawl every day is dead? ...or is that just not worth including in the announcment now?
Brawlers' Guildhall is still continuing! You'll be receiving more info on it soon. :slightly_smiling_face:

As we celebrate the release of Theros Beyond Death and the upcoming Magic World Championship, the February game update brings a variety of ways for you to experience Magic: The Gathering Arena.
Sixteen players. $1,000,000 in prizes. In a little over a week's time, the best Magic players in the world will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii to compete for the title of Magic World Champion. And, this year, they'll be competing on MTG Arena.
To support the Draft portion of the event, we've added the option for players to Direct Challenge each other in a Limited Tournament Match that will follow the same rules as other Best-of-Three Draft formats in MTG Arena. Players also have the option to choose a 40-card deck as one of the options for other Direct Challenge matches, where you can play around with options like timers and who goes first.

@pchc_lx:@WotC_Lexie:If a post hasn't gotten a reply, it's probably due to one of these things:
- What I have to say doesn't make anything better or add to the conversation in any way. I used to jump in on shuffler threads, but did that help? Did it change anyone's mind? Did it make that person feel better? Nope.
- What players are asking or talking about is something that I actually can't discuss. For example, I can't tell you about new things if we haven't announced said thing.
- The post isn't actual constructive feedback, it's hostile or trolling. Note that this is against the Code of Conduct. There is never a need to insult each other, employees, be rude about things, etc. Being nice on the internet, y'all.
