Yup! We’re aware of that I was able to find out that server restarts will temporarily resolve both issues so if this does happen on a server, please let us know and we can surface it to the proper team.

I’ve escalated Brobdingnag and Houssa for a server restart. I know the teams are working on a permanent fix for this but hopefully the temporary restarts will help for now.

There is going to be more information addressing Server Transfers coming out later this week.

Honestly I think it’s a different issue but I’m not sure. I have definitely escalated both of these types of issues though. If you’re experiencing this issue, can you tell me which server you’re on?

Hey all! We completely understand the frustration of waiting in queue just to run into people using a macro or other way to bypass the inactivity timer. This is definitely not appropriate behaviour and the team is taking actions on these players.

We are working on patches and actually making improvements without server downtimes to various issues.
The team has been working around the clock to address issues that have come up throughout launch week. We will continue to work hard to improve servers, bugs, address any exploits, and improve the quality of the gameplay experience folks are having with us.

We understand that frustrations are running high and that everyone is having a different experience within New World.

To address some of the points brought up in this thread:

• Server “lock” (Full status, if I understand the frustration correctly) was instituted because certain worlds within regions were seeing DRAMATICALLY higher numbers of individuals who wanted to play on that particular server. With server capacity being worked on, one of the ways we found to effectively mitigate the growing queue issue was to limit new character creation...

Hey folks, I definitely understand the frustration of just wanting to play with your friends. I apologize for the issues you’ve been experiencing with server queues. The team is working around the clock to make improvements.
We do currently have servers that are very hard to get into and ones that are easier to log into. I believe the data I saw last week was that 40% of servers had no wait times. As we look ahead to character transfers, it is a great opportunity to coordinate with your friends and Company mates on migrating to a new server as players spread out across all servers.

I completely understand the concerns and frustrations voiced in this discussion. Getting everyone playing New World with their friends on a long term server is our top concern. We have been working around the clock to improve in a few ways.
Since launch, we have been rolling out additional servers around the globe. We have been testing server capacity increases while ensuring gameplay quality. And we are going to work with the community on character transfer to help get everyone distributed throughout all the servers available. We don’t expect to get this all perfect in one stroke, so we’ll continue to work with you, our community, to make sure everyone is satisfied.

Congrats! Huge achievement. Have you tried the Lazarus Instrumentality or the Garden of Genesis expeditions?

Are you talking about the de-sync bug? If so, then yes, our developers are working on getting a permanent fix in instead of doing server restarts!
