Cancelling your subscription doesn't end your membership there and then. We don't take away the membership that you've paid for.
But my brother who had the same thing happened to him after buying a bond and getting charged an international fee, initiated a chargeback. His account got banned and to get it unbanned he was forced to pay the international fee as well not just the bond price. So there has to be a way for you guys to add a warning for international fees on the cart if you are forcing players to pay it.
We wouldn't make anybody pay international fees. When chargebacks are made we put their accounts in a status called 'negative credit'. It's not a ban, but it does stop the account being played.
It's done to prevent people from buying something, charging it back, and then simply getting it for free. In the event you ever want your money back then submit a payment support ticket for a refund here: https://support.runescape.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360000982997-Request-a-Refund.
I'd encourage you to contact your bank to see how they handle international transactions and whether you can forego fees.
...We don't add additional transaction fees - the price you see in the store is the price you pay. In your statement does the fee originate from Jagex or from your bank? We're based in the UK, so some smaller banks might add international fees, but that's very unusual.
Seriously tho how the hell does that happen? What kind of coding mistake only leaves out claws? Curious
Oddly enough it's because the Raids chest has a list of objects considered as "purple drops" and the claws were in a separate list under "claws" for all the various types of claws so when coded to be "give a purple light for all these purple objects" it was checking the code for the list of the purple drops but not the file containing the claws.
are dust and ornament kits on the same droptable? Meaning first you roll if you hit the droptable and after it rolls if you get a ornament kit or dust?
They are not on the same drop table. You can get both a dust and the kit in the same chest.
The purpose of this content was to offer a much more engaging and interactive way to train agility where if you put in more effort you'd get more XP and almost more importantly it's supposed to be a much more enjoyable and fun way to train it. I've had so much feedback internally that it's really fun content to do which is promising!
We mentioned on the livestream that we will be monitoring the XP-rates post-release especially because we're tracking data about completion times etc. so we can make any adjustements once you guys have had a chance to do the content.
So apparently, if you get a drop at Chambers of Xeric, the purple light is broken. It shows a white light.
I've flagged it to the developers and QA thanks for letting me know!
Edit: This was only affecting the Dragon Claws but has now been hotfixed and should be purple from here on out :)
Do you also need to make time to get the roll for the kit?
You do need to make time to get the drop.
Disregard post, Mod Acorn corrected, leaving it up as show of my idiocy
I've noticed something interesting in the background of the merch pictures. Look here the first pic is of the merch, but look behind.
Doesn't that look like the barrows area in the left and mid pic?
The second picture is a screencap of TheLazyPeon's video covering OS remastered. In this moment, he was at barrows.
It's not exactly the same but they do look very similar.
If it's any consolation the person that took the photo placed the pins against some fake grass IRL though I do see the some similarities.
Sorry, a little confused here, then what is the difference between Question 19 and Question 21 from Poll #71?
Edit: I understand that question 20 is implemented over question 21 because question 20 was highest rated, but what does question 19 mean then vs. question 21?
It's okay and I can see how it's confusing. In the blog we ask the player do you want an increased chance of getting grubs based on thieving level (19). If that passes then we poll how do you want to get these grubs: multiple grubs from a single chest (20), or just overall chance increase across all chests (21). Hope that clarifies!
Edit: Typo
From now on, Vanguards will have a visual cue if their health is either too high or low.
The final Chambers of Xeric change, which will add a HUD to Vanguards and bosses, is still in development. We'll update you with an estimated release date nearer the time.
I'm a bit confused, why are you adding both of these? Isn't that just excessive visual clutter?
The visual cue is rather an animation that plays on the vanguards themselves so shouldn't be too much clutter. The HUD and cue were both things that passed the poll which is why we did them.
is it same drop rate as dust?
We haven't released drop rates for the kit itself but we can confirm they are not the same.
Is question 19 "Should the chance of getting grubs from chests in the Chambers of Xeric be based on Thieving levels?" not included in this?
I only see question 20 in the post.
That poll question was the highest rated of the two. The highest rated yes vote was for obtaining multiple grubs from the chest rather than just the flat increase of obtaining grubs in general based on thieving levels.
Is the ancestral kit revertable? If yes, do you get the kit back?
Yes, yes.
