Does the "prevents further hits" just apply to hits from that cast?
For example, 2 purifying flame mines are detonated, does the "prevents further hits" of the first mine stop the damage of the secondary shockwave of the 2nd mine?
For each action, so mines do one hit to each enemy per mine.
Do the zaps also gain the 100% more per stage or since the stage gain specifies the beam are the zaps excluded?

I noticed that new Temporal Chain's quality bonus only works against white and blue enemies now, was that concious nerf or just an oversight?

Not related to spells tho still something I wanted to know for this patch. Shattering steel was working in a way that Fork made it hit the same target more times when it forked right? Is that intended and is that staying for this patch? Cause with the Fork gem buff I am pretty interested on trying the skill but not sure that this interaction is still going to happen and it's one of the big things on the skill's damage from what I have seem guides

No, the behaviour is unique to Incinerate.
About the new Energy Leech support. If you link it to a skill that naturally cannot leech and then have a second skill with either a generic source of ES leech, or even another Energy Leech gem altogether- would the leech effect granted by the second skill make the EL support in the first have the "while leeching ES" more multiplier active?
You won’t be able to support skills that can’t leech.
Hey Rory! - How does Spell Cascade interact with Purifying flame? does the 2 extra attacks, if they don't overlap with the original attack, create shockwaves on the mob being hit by one of the other attacks?
It doesn’t, traps are better if you’re trying for that interaction, though the consecrated ground has a slight delay so it isn’t that reliable.
How many seconds does it take to channel to max stages against a single boss target?
Cast time x 10, because you’d get 2 stages per cast.
Area damage still works for ground effect DoTs like CA or Vortex. Just not debuff-based DoTs.

Let's assume I've already applied a curse independent of Bane (for Despair on Hit sake) and I'm going to use 3-curse setup with another Despair, how much damage multiplier will the Bane get from linked curses? Max 3 curses applied on an enemy.
It’s about how many Bane could apply, so even if you wouldn’t be overwriting any curses, it’ll get damage as if you were.
