Hello, I've been playing Rainbow Six Siege for a long-time now and it's quite common to have glitches/bugs with this game. But the new one is again a game breaking for me.

After playing 1-2 matches continuously, I would hear the right sound in the left ear cup and left sound in left and right both.

Also, left cup sound is so loud that it feels like breaching, shots fired, grenades are actually blasting 2 feet away from you but in reality it's totally happening in the other room or other part of the map (far away)

To make the things worst, when I am droning. I don't hear any sound like drone jumping (very muffled), no enemy sound walking or deploying gadgets and at-last there is no grenade sound (when they make rotations).

After that, you would see no MVP Screen. Sometimes it's all black and sometimes it's the background and MVP Written but no operator is there.

To confirm this issue, I spent last 1-2 hours surfing on r/Rainbow6, Rainbow Six Siege Official Forum on Ubisoft Forum and R6FIX.

There are couple of reports of the same issue by multiple people but so far there is no acknowledgement related to this matter.

Please, if someone from the Ubisoft Team could fix the issue and acknowledge it?

P.S.: The only way to so far fix this issue temporarily is to re-start the game.

Thanks.

Experience: More than 1500 Hours on Rainbow Six Siege and I know it's a bug. It's not happening with any other game except for Siege and it's happening from past couple of days and never happened before.

Hey MrFriendism, thanks for contacting us!

I appreciate the thorough explanation of the issue along with the accompanying videos and image. In terms of the sound issues you are mentioning, the development team are now aware of these and are investigating. I will be sure to pass your videos along to them as these could help resolve the issue.

The MVP issue is a little rarer than the sound issues, however. For this, I would recommend verifying the game's files and testing again. Although it is far reaching, I always recommend running through this FAQ as well.

If this issue still persists, please create a support ticket and include your system files. This way, we can dive deeper into the issue to try and find a solution for you.

I hope this helps, and I also hope you have a pleasant new year.

@Bartimaeus- Are you referring to the audio issue or the MVP issue?

@Bartimaeus- We do have this FAQ for issues with PC. Have you checked your audio drivers as well?

Hey guys, We are aware that some players are experiencing inverted audio. This issue is under investigation.
Could anyone still experiencing this issue please confirm the peripherals you're using? (ie sound cards, headset, etc.)
Thanks!

Hey Licenya, I'm sorry to hear that the issues you were experiencing with sound returned. Can you remember exactly which patch / update this was caused by? Has this issue been resolved since the time of your post, or does it remain ongoing?

Do you notice any unusual behaviour in-game that could trigger the bug, or do you notice anything on your system that could be affecting your sound?

If nothing else, it would be nice to add as a settings option or as a launch flag (in steam launch options) a "reverse audio" option to fix it for the time being. I would love to know what R6 is using on top of WSAPI.

In the meantime, I'm just literally wearing my headphones backwards. Its pretty uncomfortable but I can at least hear things and I get shot in the back less often
Thanks for the suggestion to have a "Reverse Audio" option, Qub4d, and do let me apologise for the fact that you are experiencing these issues as well. As (potentially) funny as it may be to wear your headphones backwards, it really isn't a permanent solution, and I can appreciate just how frustrating and inconvenient these issues may be in a game like Rainbow Six Siege, where positioning and communication is critical. Rest assured that we're investigating issues with sound and we really do hope to have news to share soon.

Continued player reports, video contributions and provision of information / reproduction steps is exceptionally useful for us. Thank you all for your continued patience, cooperation and understanding.

I'm sorry to see you're experiencing issues with your sound in-game.

Can you answer the following questions for us -
- Map(s) affected
- Connection used (Wired? Wifi?)
- Did you notice the issues on your replay cam playback? Or live in in-game experience?
- What happened before you started to experience the sound issues? Anything unusual?

Could you also post footage showing the issue

Are you also able to provide a video of this happening?
