Ever since I have the White Noise update there is no longer microphone symbols in the scoreboard and the voice chat is no longer functioning. Fix this.

Hey Coppperneck,

One thing we'd definitely recommend is checking your HDMI cable and at most, flipping it around. So the side that plugs into your TV is now plugged into your Xbox and vice-versa. Outside of this, we'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Give these couple steps a shot and let us know how it fairs.

What type of microphone are you using with the game? Is it a stand alone one or is it attached to a headset? If it's on a headset, does the sound work fine? Can you hear other player on Voice Chat when the Mic doesn't work?

Hi UkZz_BigMac! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with the voice chat in Rainbow Six Siege. Firstly, can you please try clearing the cache on your Xbox? To do this, please unplug your console from the wall, wait at least two minutes, then restart your game. If you're still having with the voice chat afterward, I'd recommend running through the other steps in this troubleshooting guide.

We are sorry to hear that you are not able to use in game chat in Rainbow Six: Siege. Communication is a big part of our tactical based shooter and we can appreciate the impact this has on the game experience if this is restricted.

Due to changes that were necessary to improve our overall communication, we introduced a new form of technology to vastly improve our voice chat. There are, however, restrictions in place in some countries that hinder players from benefiting from these changes.

Sadly we aren't in a position to be able to influence changes on these restrictions and we ask for your understanding in this matter.
