We believe this is caused if you delete the leader and moral guide roles of your ideoligion.
This shouldn't be possible, but nobody realized it was during testing! We're pushing a hotfix within the hour to make it impossible.
For now, just don't delete those roles! If you did, you may be able to activate devmode and add them to the ideology with the edit mode checkbox in its top right (I don't know if this would work - maybe).
We'll address this - thanks for reporting.
It was reversed, but should be fixed in a build we pushed about an hour ago.
Just restart Steam to get it.
I've removed this thread since the issue was solved a few hours ago so no need to gunk up the main RW page. Thanks for all the reports from everyone.
Hi there. Some people are able to play Ideology on Steam, some are not. It seems to be due to a Steam load issue. We're currently working on it, have contacted Steam, and are doing our best to get Ideology up and running for everyone.
This issue is fixed now!
Edit: Verifying file integrity triggered the download, restarting steam didn't.
Edit2: Game is updated, but it says Ideology isn't installed.
My install hasn't updated to 1.3, and installing the Ideology expansion didn't do anything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sorry about that - Downloads should be working as of about 80 minutes ago.

Hey if you usually play on Steam you can just redeem your copy on Steam as well. It'll be easier.
Just got to rimworldgame.com/getmygame and you should be able to get it on your Steam account there.
