I can second OP's claim. It happened to me in back-to-back games last week so it was BEFORE this release. I was the invisible car and I became visible after a goal was scored. Had one game where a person on the other team was invisible. I think all three occurrences were at the Beach arena.
It doesn't seem to be tied to a specific arena, at least not for everyone, but I appreciate the information!

Update: Added an additional fix to the patch notes:
Bug: Invisible car bug in 4 of my last 10 matches. Platform: PS4 Pro Video: None (too lazy, sorry) Logs: None
Do these players appear after a goal is scored or any other in-game event/action, or are they always invisible?
Bug or Glitch: The Game freezes for 2 seconds every 30 or so seconds.
Platform: PC
No logs and currently can't upload a video, but if it will help I can provide it. The game ran perfectly before.
A video will definitely help.

Hi OP, I am not familiar with this bug, so it could be an issue with the installation. Have you tried performing a hard reset on the console or a reinstallation?
