Hi Pioneers!

Hello again everyone, Today’s patch is potentially the last patch before we go out for FICS*MAS vacations and winter holidays at our office

We wanted to do a last patch with some important fixes as we’ve noticed that some pioneers are still getting soft locked from the FICS*MAS calendar progression, so you can now handcraft the FICS*MAS Data Cartridges in the Workshop once you’ve unlocked them in case you ever lose them so you should always be able to complete the event

Those fixes are omitted from here as to not spoil the surprises for all the new pioneers even if you have already seen some of the content from previous years :)

Hi Pioneers!

 

Hello again everyone, here’s a big patch with some important fixes that we didn’t want to hold off until later

Some highlights are the fix for a crash on startup for lower spec GPUs which required using the -dx11 command on launch, this should no longer be necessary to do.

Other inclusions are the much requested copy paste setting also working on Generators and Extractors now and some more tweaks to the Clearance Boxes

There’s a lot of crash fixes and some bug fixes like Frame Windows not allowing snapping, as well as plenty of performance optimizations as well as some more options requested by our modding community.

This patch also includes a new setting called “Voice Chat Detection” in the options menu under Audio, this is a setting for Audio Attenuation so you can choose whether external applications or microphone input can lower the in-game volume so everything is easier to hear.

Hi Pioneers! 

This week we pushed a patch that contained a pretty chonky issue, namely that a lot of stuff on the map respawned. This hotfix will address this issue, however, if you’ve saved your game since this last patch (1.0.0.5) then your save file will still have most items respawned. I.e. this hotfix will not revert the damage done from the last patch if you’ve already saved over it (sowee!). We’ve also resolved the issues related to the customizer with this hotfix!

Hi Pioneers!

Hello again everyone, this is potentially our last patch for a few weeks before we go back into focusing on working on more content so we included a bunch of highly requested fixes in it!

Some notable examples are re-adding the Clearance visualization boxes on Buildings to be on by default, which now has also an option to turn it off for those who don’t want them, Gas Pillar smoke effect lingering should now properly be fixed for all Gas Pillars in the world, Updates to the community created translations including 3 more languages reaching 100% completion and plenty more crash and bug fixes!

Hi Pioneers!

Hello again everyone, We have been monitoring the issues some of you are having since we released and today we have a potential fix for one of the most prominent crashes with no workarounds that we have identified

After this patch, crashes related to Conveyor Belts/Lifts (AFGConveyorItemSubsystem) should hopefully be solved for everyone

This patch exclusively contains fixes for this issue, given its severity we didn’t want to wait for these fixes to be out so everyone could enjoy playing through the weekend :)

Hello again everyone, we want to say thanks for such an amazing reception to our 1.0 release. It has been incredible for all of us, and we really appreciate your enthusiasm

Hello again everyone, Today we are moving over the previous patch released on Experimental as well as introducing two new changes, Aside from some very long requested QOL like the Invert look option also working for Vehicles and Trains, now you can also remove offline players out of vehicles by entering them yourself, as well as fixing another top mentioned issue on QA Site with the MAM research resetting when you closed the menu.

Hi Pioneers!

Hello again everyone, Today we have a patch for you with a bunch of fixes, This patch includes some very long requested QOL like the Invert look option also working for Vehicles and Trains, Crash and Bug Fixes and other goodies :)

Hi Pioneers!

Today Update 8 is now available on the Early Access version of Satisfactory for everyone to try out and have fun with it! This update showcases the combined efforts of the studio over more than a year worth of work with both Unreal Engine 5 and Update 8 as a whole, so there are a LOT of changes that have happened since Update 7 released on Early Access.

We’ve spent the last few months trying our best to stabilize as much as we can so you all can have a good experience when Update 8 releases on Early Access, with that being said, It never hurts to BACK UP YOUR SAVES :)
