Generally issues with DLC verification can be solved by right clicking Stellaris, Properties, Betas tab and Verify Local files.

If the issue persists past that point, you can go to support.paradoxplaza.com and open a ticket, and Customer Support will be glad to help you!

The Expansion Subscription is primarily to lower the bar to entry for new players, if you have all or most of the DLC, its very likely that the subscription will not be worth it for you.

New DLC will *not* be subscription only, and you can still purchase them on Steam (or other platforms) as you could previously.

People joining the game you host, have access to the dlc you own, if you have the sub, most likely mean they have access to it too.
This is correct, subscription DLC behave the same as normal DLC, and are shared in multiplayer as long as the subscribed player is the host.

Hello everyone!

We've gathered up some of the most frequently asked questions from the launch of the Stellaris Expansion Subscription.

Will I lose access to my existing content purchases?
No. All existing purchases will remain, and you will not have to sign up to the subscription service to maintain your access to your previously purchased content.

Will future content be subscription-only?
No! Our main model will remain focused around expansions and other content, as we have done so far. We have introduced a subscription service to lower the barrier to entry for new players.

Who asked for this?
We are experimenting with this additional option to provide players access to the full Stellaris experience. We are simply offering another choice, as we understand that many players would be interested in trying Stellaris with all the content without having to commit to purchasing all the existing content.

Going into further details would help me pass along info to our devs for a resolution. Some MacOS issues have been fixed, and we'd like to fix yours, too.

Hi there! I checked in with our Devs, and they'd like you to make a post on the Paradox forums, and attach the crash logs so they can investigate, please!

You can find the logs in Documents > Paradox Interactive > Stellaris > Crashes -- please zip the folder created with this crash and attach it to your report.

Thanks!

We've seen a lot of reports from MacOS users that the latest version works for them, but hopefully some of them can chime in here for additional anecdata. :)

Our Linux and Steam Deck player are having issues that our Dev team is working to resolve. In the meantime, players have reported that starting Steam, disabling the internet, then loading the game bypasses the crashing issue. Internet can be reenabled afterwards.

The team is aware and is working on resolutions for the crashing issues on Mac. In the meantime, you can roll back to a previous version in order to play:

Click Stellaris, Properties, Betas tab and choose 3.9.3 from the dropdown.

Originally posted by TeamLoad: It doesn’t work, as I already said in the comments under the news about the release of the DLC, it’s not displayed for me only in the game, that is, in the launcher everything is displayed for me that was purchased and installed, as well as turned on.

I have personally worked to troubleshoot this issue, so I know what you're seeing, alas. Please Verify your game files in Steam (right click Stellaris in your library -> Properties - Installed Files -> Verify), then exit Steam, and run Steam as an administrator.

Verifying the files will re-sync with the latest version of the game, and should resolve the issue. If it does not, you can try running the Launcher's beta version (Under Launch... Read more
