In Settings -> Gameplay there's a setting to turn off pop-up messages.

Users with this issue, can you advise what (if any) mods (especially UI mods) you're using? We're trying to narrow this issue down. Thanks!

I don't think we've seen this issue reported on the forums -- would you be so kind as to submit a bug report so the devs can look into it?

Game updates can make the game and the launcher a little wonky, unfortunately. There are several things you can try to fix this issue, try each of these steps in order, and attempt to load the game after each one:
1. Disable all mods
2. Verify Local Files (Steam) - Right Click Stellaris, Right Click Properties, Go to Local Files and click ""Verify Integrity of Game Files""
3. In the launcher, go to Settings, and change your Video Settings to Borderless Fullscreen or Windowed mode
4. (In Windows) Go to Settings, Add/Remove Programs, and Uninstall Paradox Launcher v2. After relaunching the game, let the launcher download updates, and restart the game again.

If none of these things work, go to support.paradoxplaza.com and open a ticket. Customer Support will be able to help you sort things out!

It'll be releasing mid-morning Swedish time, in about eight hours or so.

In your steam library, right-click Stellaris, click properties, browse to Local Files > Browse local files button.

It looks like you've tried most of our standard troubleshooting tips, but we've got one more for you:

Manually delete /Stellaris/ and redownload:
-- (in Steam) Right Click Stellaris, Local Files, and click Browse. Delete the contents of the /Stellaris/ folder that opens (do *not* delete the /Stellaris/ folder in /Documents/, as it contains your save files and custom empires).

If your game doesn't work after you've done this and then reloaded, go to support.paradoxplaza.com and open a ticket. Customer Support will be happy to work with you!

When you host the savegame in MP, you need to be sure to click "Allow Coop" and when selecting your Empire as host you need to tick "Coop Empire". Then your friend joins normally and selects the empire you're playing as out of the list.

Hope this helps!

Are y'all still running into this issue? Do all players have the same checksum?

You can change video settings in the launcher. Click Settings, Click Video, and choose your resolution.

If this doesn't help, you can open at ticket at support.paradoxplaza.com

As a way-more-casual Stellaris player myself, the Starter Pack has been more than enough for me. Plus, if you know someone who has the DLC, if you play with them, you get to try out the stuff they own. This won't be the last time our stuff goes on sale, promise. :)

Hi! Paradox Arc is the publishing arm of Paradox Interactive! There's no copyright violations here. This is, indeed, an intentional act; it's a turn-based single (v. AI) or multiplayer (v. friends) game set in the Stellaris galaxy.

Does it seem like your cursor is "off" in other places, like it's registering in a different part of your screen than where your cursor is showing, or is it just the right click that's causing trouble for you?

Star Trek Infinite is developed by an external studio and published by Paradox. We don't expect that it will affect the development of Stellaris at all. :)
