By 'planned out' do you mean you placed the domes but paused their construction until you got the tech? If so then that is the problem; the required resources have already been requested and the tech being then researched does not retrospectively change those requests.

I don't know what could cause that, except it is certainly not a game bug!

Unload GeForce experience before starting the game, if that is running. I've seen it cause weird problems in its attempts to 'optimise' for various games.

If no good still, Please attach here the latest (ONLY!) game log file, from here:
C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\Surviving Mars\logs\
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.

Plus, DXDIAG is a program you run from the Windows search box on the task bar. After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Adding new DLCs to the game does not add them to existing colonies, I'm afraid.

If you start a new test colony do you see them there?

Thank you for checking, @ChoGGi_2 ! Much appreciated.

I'm sorry @Artorios Rex , there's something wrong with that save file that is beyond us to see and fix. Sorry about that!

Karbuziran said: So, that means all the DLCs are de-/activated from within the Steam-Client and no Launcher is necessary anymore for "Surviving Mars" to regulate anything for the Game?
Because I remember in 2019 after I had purchased the Game (when I had tried it out @ PDXCON2019), there definitely was a Launcher for it - which was a little "wobbly" in Linux, but it was present and worked more or less - even in Manjaro Linux.

This game never had a launcher of any sort. It always went from Steam straight into the game. I frankly have no idea what you are t... Read more

Was that game log taken just after a failure to load that save? Because it doesn't seem to get that far!

Artorios Rex said: and a few months ago it stopped loading (I guess after an update??)
The most recent patch for this game was over a year ago now. So something else has triggered this, it seems.

As far as the save goes, your only hope would be that the redoubtable ... Read more

Karbuziran said: The Game launches directly into the Main-Game without any Launcher to allow de-/activating DLCs
That is the same on all OSs and platforms. This game was released before we had our launcher. You can disable them in your Steam Client though.

You don't need to do anything to activate them though.

If we can get the same files as the OP posted, I'll look into them both and see if there's anything in common that might contribute to this.

RedUlf said: No crashes, game hangs, but not fully. I can still move around using the mouse. This started happening recently, no mods. No problem with hardware, no temp problems. No crash as mentioned
I see ... but you posted in this thread about crashes at a specific timepoint that "I have the same issue" !

Let's transfer to the other thread then.

RedUlf said: I have the same issue and many people do have these issues. What will Paradox do about it?
In your other post you said you have game hangs, here you say you have game crashes. These are different problems. Are you saying you have both?

Either way have they always happened?

Any mods involved?

I can't see why that one building thinks it is on a separate grid.

What if you delete it and re-build it?

That report shows you have 13.2.1 not 13.3.1 - or is it that you have updated since your OP?

Please try updating to MacOS 13.3.1 - that solved this for at least some MacOS users.

I've not come across Remote Mouse before - interesting tool! But I doubt that's contributing to your problem, unless maybe you are using it to play.

Disable the Discord overlay though, as a test.

If that doesn't help, the only other thing of concern in there is that there are numerous stuck In Progress or Failed Windows updates going back to 2020 when Windows was installed. It may be time to consider a Windows Reset or full wipe and reinstall!

Looks the same as the previous, so no advance there.

Please install and run the free utility Speccy. Send its output to a text file and attach that here, thanks.

I don't really see anything in those files to explain this, I am sorry. I see nVidia have another newer driver out today, may as well try that.

Assuming that doesn't help, the crash dump looks for all the world like a game bug - except why does it not affect everyone? And why is it random for you and not triggered by some specific action or event, as is typical with app bugs? Very odd.

After one of these crashes can you load the game right up and carry on from the last save? Or do you need to reboot, or wait a while, before it will run again?

If you make a new Windows user and log into Windows as that, doe sit happen there too?

This is just in that particular save you've attached? Or in any colony you play?

Either way Immediately after the next such crash, Please attach here the latest (ONLY!) game log file, from here:

Not that I'm aware of, aside from the workaround I linked above.

That is a shame. I guess we'll have to go back to Apple again and hope they can pin down why 13.3 helped some users and not others.
