Last week, the guild MΔW hit an impressive milestone in Galaxy of Heroes. We want to congratulate them on becoming the first guild to achieve all 33 stars in the Dark Side Geonosis Territory Battle. Each player in MΔW will have the option to display the title of "Separatist Commander" and show off their massive accomplishment.

Starting next week, we’ve got a brand new season of Grand Arena Championships, and with the 40th anniversary of Empire Strikes Back happening during this GAC, we thought it would be an excellent idea to theme the GAC with that movie in mind to celebrate!

It turns out that Empire Strikes Back is too big for just a single Championship as well, so this season will cover the Battle of Hoth and Luke’s training on Dagobah, leaving the other parts of ESB (bounty hunters and Bespin) for the next season. This month is 3v3 battles, so think carefully about who you set on defense and what you might expect to face.

We’ve listed the starting dates for the feats so you can better plan your defenses and gear up your teams. All dates are approximate and may not sync up to your part of the world.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

We’ve been following the impact of Galactic Legends closely. We have seen in our data and from the community that using undersized squads with General Anakin Skywalker can pose an issue for Supreme Leader Kylo Ren under the right circumstances. This appears to be more consistent than we would like to see and we are actively monitoring this interaction. In general, we want to avoid scenarios where a team performs better when undersized or lower investment (as was the case with Nightsister Zombie). As a result, we are likely going to make changes to address the viability of using undersized teams against Supreme Leader Kylo Ren.

We have not decided on any changes at this time, but please be aware that there may be changes coming in the future.

We are aware that some players are having issues getting into the game. This appears to be a broader service disruption outside of our platform. If you are having this issue, try closing the client first and then restarting. This may take a few tries but it appears to be helping in the short term. We are exploring what could be causing this issue and update you here when we know more.

Hi Holotable Heroes,

Last week we became aware of a loophole with Galactic Legends that causes Rey and Kylo to prioritize attacking an invulnerable character repeatedly. This normally cannot occur but there is a special case when General Skywalker is paired with Wat Tambor and Fives that causes the Galactic Legends to behave unexpectedly.

We are aiming to deploy a fix to prevent this behavior on 4/23 and this change will be in effect for the next Territory War (NOTE: AI is not impacted by roster lock). This update will not impact the abilities of any of these characters and their kits will not be altered.

We were just made aware of some possibly unintended interactions around Galactic Legends AI. We need some time to dive into this issue and investigate. We will let you know early next week when we have reviewed the data if or what changes we plan to make to address this.

We’ve been watching the data on Galactic Legends and observed some players struggling with completing Tier 6 of Supreme Leader Kylo Ren’s event. We will be adding the following hint to the tier:

Increase Supreme Leader Kylo Ren’s Mastery in order to overwhelm his opponents. The granted ability, That’s An Order, can be used to provide him with additional turns and prevent him from being defeated for a short time.

Most players are using squads with the right amount of power but possibly a weaker combination of characters than we expected. We also suggest experimenting with team compositions that can funnel Kylo extra turns and protect him while he ramps Mastery.

We hope these hints help you complete your journey to Galactic Legends and we will continue to closely review the data around win rates and team compositions.

We’ve just wrapped up on our first two Galactic Legends, Rey and Supreme Leader Kylo Ren. We’re incredibly excited to see the community begin to unlock these characters and compose interesting and powerful squads. With the end of our recent New Trilogy block, we’re moving on to a new part of the Star Wars galaxy for us.
