It is only counted once the player has logged in. After that is should be fine.

Does your game/device language correspond with the selected PlayStore/AppStore? So for example, if you are connected to the Spanish PlayStore, your device language needs to Spanish. In some cases setting the device language to English also helped to get around this error message.
Not a bug, but we are aware that it looks a bit odd. And yes, it is due to the new reward system for the GCs.

If you restart your game once a day (at least) it should appear.
If you are missing the "log into your Google account" option then the account is most likely flagged as an underaged account. When you first launch the game on a new device it will ask for your age. If you accidentally put in the wrong age there, the only way to get it corrected is via our Customer support.
Yeah unfortunately this is one of the long-standing bugs we have not yet been able to fix. But it is still on our radar.
