If it's the other dude, it's the turn mechanic added to that fight and it's normal.
I know endgame is mostly PvP, but we don't mind! We had a blast getting sidetracked during the campaign breeding perfect tems and TV training, often splitting up solo for that and still having fun. He'd catch every Tateru during stamina training and hand me off the good ones for my Momo breeding, and I'd do the same for him.
The amount of content we got in those hours were more than worth the price of admission, in our experience. We laughed through dialogues, adjust our builds to each other, roll our eyes and scream at the TV over the stupid Koish fishing event, and basically had a blast. That's not counting the hours we spent researching combat and pvp, building teams online and talking about the game.
We're now excited to get into the endgame content and really focus on building tems we love. Definitely a wonderful game to spend time with a loved one.

Hi! In all these cases, the issue was always that the region for the physical copy and the region on the Switch/eShop don't align. Try changing your Switch region to match that of the copy you purchased :)
All those issues are already fixed but the patch is waiting for certification (a process on consoles that each patch needs to pass and that usually takes over a week or even more). We hate the situation but sadly we can't do much more, if we could release a patch the same day we find an issue we would do it.
Just remove the damn fishing requirement, nobody wants to fish for 5 hours to do the pinnacle battles.

Considering the posts dating back way before this game officially released saying how people with colour blindness are having trouble here, I can't really argue this, especially with seemingly no response from a dev every time.
We usually process feedback internally and only openly comment on it when we have something to show for it, or a decision has been made. We also have internal priorities, and we can't always share them with you, nor do they always align with yours. Koish fishing was optional up until 1.0, so it wasn't as much of a priority then, and we wanted to launch before we tackled accessibility.
We're aware of this feedback, but it's only been a month since it was implemented, and these things take time. Please be patient and don't assume we don't care: given how many things have been changed in Temtem due to community feedback I think that's already been proven not to be the case, and it makes it really hard for us to step into the conversation.

I bought Temtem when it was in beta like 2 years ago, on Steam. If I want to play cross save on ps5, do I have to purchase Temtem plus ? My gf purchased the ps5 version on her profile. Atm it looks like I can create a new game but cross save is locked.

yeas, if you're game-sharing from her version you'll need Temtem plus to cross-progress!
