2. could you try to uninstall and reinstall the app and see if that fixes the issue?

There is a short window of time with every update on iOS where the update is ready on our end but the App Store must still be updated. It is region dependent, but should be clear in all regions soon.
New Player Experience Improvements:
Hi Tenno, could it be that your gun is currently in hand when you are trying to lock on? Be sure to be in sword mode when you press the contextual action button to lock on.

To confirm: you are saying you currently have selected the highest framerate and the highest graphical settings, but it looks like 30 FPS with low graphic settings? And that previously 60FPS worked for you?

Hi Tenno, we are not hearing about other users being unable to progress the quest at this scene. Nor were our QA testers able to reproduce the issue you're describing. Are you still experiencing this? If so, please share any more information such as your touch control settings. You could upload a screenshot here or email one to [email protected] -- whatever is easier.
