It means that:

Ship Group A has a 10% of being pulled.


Ship Group A contains Ships A, B, C, and D

25% chance each as evenly weighted (# possible/100%)

If a player has Ship A and C, then...

Ship Group A has a 10% of being pulled.


Ship Group A contains Ships B and D (because A and C are disabled due to being already owned by the player)

50% chance each as evenly weighted (# possible/100%)

"The drop chances of a particular group do not depend on the number of items from the group that you already have."

Ship Group A has a 10% chance of being pulled regardless of Ships in the group which are already owned by the player.

There is not a "re-roll" as such, because unique items which are already owned are removed from the possible drop table.

Once all unique items are owned, the areas on the drop table which only had unique items would instead be covered by [Compensation].

Giving an easy example:

Ship Group A: (Options F, G, H)


Ship Group B: (Options L, M, N)


Ship Group C: (Options K, Y, Z)

If the player has F, G, and H in their port, Ship Group A cannot be rolled in the first place.

If the player also have L, M, and N in their port, Ship Group B cannot be rolled in the first place, either.

If the player strikes Ship Group C, and only has K and Z in their port, they will receive Y because no other option exists.

If the player has F, G, H, L, M, N, K, Y, and Z, Ship Groups are replaced by [Compensation] which will be triggered whenever the Ship Group area is rolled (or triggered from bad luck prevention).

The contents are decided at the moment of opening.

You cannot receive a duplicate ship, so you would receive a different ship in the Ship Group that was rolled (if a Ship Group was rolled). If you had all available ships, you would receive Steel from the container instead of a ship.

Yes. Each time the ship group is struck after a player has all the ships available in the Santa Crate, they get steel instead.

You need to make a Customer Support Ticket and attach a Replay. Or, if it happens in Port after the game, attach screenshots.

Are you thinking of CV torps? The question in this thread was regarding Submarine torpedoes.

It looks like the Sub pinged the battleship to your northwest. It likely threw torps to the north either in case of DD or in the direction of the BB north of you. Failing a ping on that ship, the Sub pinged the other battleship.


The easiest way to double check would be to look at your Replay and watch the torp that didn't hit you. You can see where it was going after you sank.

When a player intentionally does something like this to hurt his team, he is helping the enemy team. Please make a Customer Support Ticket under the header "Collusions" and be sure to provide the information you have as well as a Replay.

Example: Spotting-aircraft doesn't work on Iowa battleship

How to Reproduce: Exact steps need to be made to reproduce the issue

Example: Take Iowa battleship with spotting-aircraft equipped. Go in battle. Try to launch spotting-aircraft

Result: What's the result of the issue.

Example: After pressing spotting-aircraft activating button you can hear an aircraft sound but nothing happens, the aircraft stands still.

One thing to point out. The AP shells will have Improved Pen Angles, but will have standard Shell Fuse Timing.

As always, please remember that the Pan American Cruiser Line is still in testing and is subject to change during that process.

I'm considering locking this thread because it's not going anywhere. It looks like all the relevant points have been made, and it's now just bickering.

To the OP, the largest issue brought up in the thread relates to engineering. The proposed restractable flight deck would need to have some life expectancy because the ship itself would carry planes that would ideally like to land at some point. While it might be considered as a single-use event and then require heading to port to refurbish the concept, that confronts a wealth of other obstacles in that it turns a battleship into a one-trick pony... which seems an odd idea for something as substantial an investment as a battleship, even if it's modded in an interesting way.

I'm an observer in this thread, but I don't see any forward movement until the OP either fires up an engineering program to push out schematics with tolerances being catered to or hires someone to do it for him....

Likely because the interception point is projected so far off the ship (if you ping the bow while the ship is moving forward) that it would cause weird attack lines.
