Hey, Appreciate the feedback. Looking at this post, it seems as though there might be an issue on the server-side (server is having trouble sending through stats). We (league client) have fixed the client-related issues last year related to end of Game. Can you message me? we can try to look into your case and see if others are experiencing something similar.

Thanks

But yeah I guess the shop was gucci, so if it ain’t broke 🤷🏽‍♂️

Appreciate the feedback, we have listed all of our fixes and changes in the patch notes going back to mid last year

Thanks for the comment, appreciate it!

We have made significant improvements to memory leaks that have reduced crashes since patch 10.25, you will hear more about this next week and our Q1 plan for this year, where we will talk about crashes and our plan to reduce them :)

They said they would be fixing the client with half-assed annual statements for 2 years. I doubt they change anything. At this point I'm convinced that they're just going to create a whole new client in the next two years instead of devoting a single resource to fixing this one.

Appreciate the feedback, we have published five posts being transparent with our progress, every two months. Our next one is going out next Friday (slight delay since we had a holiday break) which will highlight a number of improvements we have made over the course of 2020 and our plan for Q1 of this year.

to be honest. the programmers of lol client are terrible. yes i said it. how terrible are you guys at testing such simple features. this is disappointing. not only those settings reset since the last patch but now the game wont accept voice activation and always switches my settings MID GAME to push to talk. i have to quit mid match. change, come back and it will change again to push to talk 10 mins into the game. its simple the fact that this client has been coded over and over again and instead of being patched, everything is an extension to it just adding on top of the clutter of code devs have to deal with. just re build the client and dont say "it will cost a lot" it wont. fixing a client broken from the ground up costs more. this is unacceptable.

appreciate the feedback. Yes, we are a client team, but we also have a large number of engineers (outside our team) working within the client to make their changes. We make every effort to test things before we push out changes. This client settings issue did crop up a lot more several patches ago, we listened to players and made three independent changes to reduce the issue significantly (we have metrics that confirm this). I have even reached out to multiple folks on reddit who have confirmed this issue does not occur. It also seems like you are experiencing an issue with something happening in-game? if So, that is an independent team that manages those fixes. The best way to help us is to open a support ticket, we do have a team looking into request and we address them accordingly

Hey, Just spoke with the team that works on this part of the game, it will be fixed in the next patch!

best patch of the year not even debatable

Thanks! I think this one is a tie between 10.23, where we fixed a number of memory issues, and 10.16, where we made things faster too :)

The improvements we made to the champ select grid are big too, hope you notice an improvement in responsiveness and reliability when in Champ Select starting in 10.24!

When a player views their profile, or other profiles

When a player open the personalized offers tab

When a player visits the TFT party lobby

When a player visits match history

When a player visits the clubs tab

When a player views a hovercard

When a player visits the TFT hub

When a player navigates among main tabs

When a player enters a chat room

Opening a champion skin chroma

Every time the social panel is shown (client start up, and after each game)

When a player opens runes editor (in Champ Select + Collections)

In Champ Select (fixing a chat service observer leak)

In Champ Select (premade voice observer leak)

So memory leaks were happening when basically doing anything?

It's a lot, and we will continue making improvements! :)
