I hope you understand how happy this made me. It might not be as big as i used to have but we are indeed moving into the right direction, you have no idea how much this means for the blind community. I will edit this post later and tag friends who have sight issues and needs to see this comment. Thank you!!
We're actually going to allow a scale up to 5 in the config, which looks like this.
Hi, UX Designer from Riot here.
First, I'm sincerely sorry that a change we made impacted your ability to play the game. That's never our intent. The change was made to prevent crashes in the game when people would edit their game configurations to use data that wasn't usable.
In the next patch, we're going to allow plays to scale their UI to up to 3 in the settings UI (which is a 50% increase in size). Additionally, we will support a larger range of values for players who choose to edit their configuration file. Hopefully this lets you play in the way that you are used to.
Please continue to let us know through the channels you have available as this stuff comes up. We very much care and very much want to make League a good experience for as many players as possible.
Hey friends!
Question: Are you talking about items in the All Items View, items in the Recommended View, or both?
Hi friends, looking into this. A few things we have planned that may help as well as a few questions emerge:
Things we have planned: * The ability to scale the shop up and down * The ability to scale items in the all items/item sets views up and down independent of shop scale
Questions I have: * Which specific parts of the shop (not counting icon images) are difficult for you to read as a colorblind person? (Please also specify the type of colorblindness you have if possible) * Which items are giving you the most trouble as a colorblind person?
You reading my stupid jokes out loud is the highlight of my week.
Yep, I hated the new store when I played on PBE for the first day but the more I played the more I grew to the hate the old store so much I stopped playing on live.
You can just legit shop so much quicker once you know where everything is with the new setup.
They definitely need to add resizing tho.
We're looking into it. :)
Yo, can you clear something up for me?
The starting jungle items give a bunch of bonuses. They also say it gets consumed when your smite upgrades. Do you keep the bonuses from buying the item, or do all of those (the omnivamp v monsters, bonus xp, regen in jungle/river) disappear?
You keep everything but get the item slot back.
They have an animation too when they upgrade that's a bit flashy. First time it happened, I though that an enemy champion hit me across the map with a new item and spotted me out when I had 40% health. That shit scared me.
This is actually because without a reasonably sized ceremony we found in playtests that people wouldn't realize where their item had gone.
CLASS TABS Your champion's class tab will automatically be selected, which helps you avoid looking at tank items on Ahri (unless that's your thing).
looks like someone at Riot has noticed tylers broken tank ahri build
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Holy shit Obama left the white house to work for rito
My fellow Americans. Gaming. Is the future of our economy. And I. Want to be part, of that future.
Going to use this in my work ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
My Shop doesn't have descriptions or names, it's either blank or something like "Item_6677_Tooltip". The items are like this.
Yep this is known, thanks for the report!
I love the new shop. I'm still trying to get used to the layout, but one thing that has sorely stood out to me so far is the search function. Right now when you search for an item, that search will remain there. If you open the search bar again, it still has whatever you had previously typed in for the search. I personally find this incredibly disruptive and I hate that I have to manually delete what I had previously typed.
It would be really nice if it could either:
A. Clear the search bar every time you open it.
B. Have an alternate key-press (such as right-clicking) to open and clear the search bar.
C. Have a clear button (such as a classic X cross icon) available, even without having the search bar directly open.
The search context will be cleared when you exit the search mode.
Hi, just have a quick question, when you say stat filters do you mean how the items are sorted on the live server? Or do you mean a bar at the top where you can click mana, and it shows all the mana items? So far the update is looking great.
P.S. Do you want bug reports in this thread, or do you want bug reports to have their own thread?
Stat filters will allow you to say: "Show me all the items that provide mana"
Bug reports are fine here.
Just read the post before commenting lol
I mean, it's in this very post
Oh, if they said that then nevermind. Do you have the context of where they stated that?
lol
I don't know if it's just me, but the build recipe for the items have an offset to the right
Not you, its a scaling bug with the new shop.
I didn't really like that last searched item was still in search bar after reopening the shop.
This is fixed.
Dude reading is hard >.<
lol
Right click to sell was working for me last night, it took me about 15 seconds to figure out what was going on with selling in my first game last night but after that it wasn't so bad. It might be clearer if the inventory background popped more when you were in the shop? Almost like an extension of the shop.
Yeah this is something we are considering, among other options for making the HUD inventory a bit more obvious. Thanks for the feedback!
