Tyrosusz and I can't - because I'm missing the entire 'freeplay' section of my Challenges log. It just says I've completed the challenges required (in the quest log) and I'm able to 'explore the tomb' - Will attach screenshot momentarily.

Just before the cutscene was triggered. From what I remember the combat had already concluded and we were flying to the next point when it dropped.
Rest of the mission and all cutscenes had no audio. Sucked because it was one of the longer missions with ingame and prerendered scenes.

On a side note, may have another sound related crash. When talking to various NPCs and choosing a dialogue option you immediately get disconnected and thrown to the main menu. It's repeatable and happens with multiple NPCs.
Hmmm. That's not a sound bug, but definitely a bug. Can you give me a repro step order?
As sh*te as it is now, the best bet if audio cuts out is to restart immediately - it's a choice between losing a bit of progress and having to miss important beats - the timing in your case was particularly terrible and I apologize for that experience.

There is an annoying sample frequency desync when transitioning between the login screen and the game. Here is a video I made showing the issue:
44.1 and 48K sample frequencies work, but if you go non standard such as 96 or 192K(I imagine 88.2 as well) then this issue occurs.

Well that's just fantastic mate. I'm doing the mission where you meet Faye and Haluk for the first time, and the audio cuts out 2 minutes in. Little did I know I'd be watching 15 minutes of cutscenes and exposition in game without audio.
Completely ruined the experience.
It dropped during a cutscene? That's new. Usually it's in heavy combat with four players - sorry for the hassle, we know it sucks. Day 1 patch has addressed almost every instance we could repro but we are continuing to work on eliminating this issue completely.
I seem to be able to get it to consistently drop sound if I sprint and jump within about a second or so if there's an enemy near me. I'm not able to take video but it's done it with that exact movement combo three times now for me.

Your audio settings - sample rate, bit depth, output devices help - but we have fixed the most egregious cases in the day 1 patch. Sorry for the pain!
Audio needs to be fixed ASAP, not on day one. This is a HUGE problem, I cant enjoy the story at all cuz i have to restart a mission like 3 times because out of nowhere it decides to cut off audio!!! Been playing the game for 12+ hours now and 2 of those hours have bee wasted bcuz i want to experience the story!
Trust me, I completely agree! We had a nightmare time trying to reproduce this at the studio and there are a host of issues that CAN trigger it. We fixed a ton in the day 1 patch and will continue to work on it until it's completely resolved. Sorry for the hassle, and thanks for toughing it out!
I'm having my mouse skip across my screen randomly. As if it isn't taking movement commands but then skips forward to where is should be. Never had this issue with a game before. My mouse is a rival 310. Making it impossible for me to aim correctly

I was playing also with 4 people during a mission and sound was lost all of a sudden, so i had no sound at all even when i came back to tarsis.

I had this issue in the demo with a bluetooth headset as well (PlayStation gold). Hope that helps you guys?
Yeah, bluetooth and usb audio devices can change output sample rate - can you ensure ALL your audio devices/outputs are set to 16bit/48k?
Just a idea, if the issue remain difficult to fix, what about putting a "reset sound engine" button in the sound settings menu while investigating ? =)
Yeah, good idea but it's actually a crash and can't be restarted separately from the game. Sorry for the pain!
Amazing game so far but the audio cuts out randomly every couple of hours or so. Closing the game and then reopening it fixes it.

Why are these patches waiting for the 22 if some of them seem to be ready?
The issue with Dolby Vision specially seems bad since I can't even play without it messing with my PC. I cannot play Anthem without it forcing a shutdown of my PC after it ends or at some point.
Complex certification process with first party I believe. Honestly that stuff is a bit outside of the work I do so I can't give you an exact reason. Probably because we want to maximize the amount of fixes and can only deploy so many patches?
No problem so far. Just the first loading screen of the game was buggy.
My complaint is unconsistency of voices. Especially cyhper voices making too much echoe and metallic sound. Even merchants(face to face) talks weird sometimes. I can feel the room and mic but not all voices like this. I guess you guys record some voices with different equipment or different time maybe beginning of the development.
That shouldn't be the case, is there any way to capture a video of this? I would love to hear what you are hearing.
I'm having the issue as well. I had sound and everything was working fine and then in the middle of a mission, the game sound just stopped. I still got the origin achievement pop-up sound so I don't think it's a hardware issue. Restarting the game brings sound back there's still a bug there somewhere. This has happened twice so far.
