Quick question, any clue why people are getting varrying number of Coin to start with and all 4 javelin unlocks? I only started with 40k coin and 1 javelin unlock after the tutorial, and my buddy after his tutorial started with 160k coin and all 4 javelin unlocks.
No idea, I think folks are looking at it!
I tried all settings available. I really wanted that to be the case of course. And I’m currently using the same cable right now on my older Astro mix amp without issue. Everything else bar that PS4 setting on the mix amp is working perfectly after the demo weekend.
Ok. I just ordered that specific model. I will try to repro and get back to you!
I can't even imagine. Plus it's harder for you guys because you're just relaying info to and from all the different teams that are a part of the project and not necessarily involved with each moving part.
Again, awesome job guys, communication is KEY, and you're on top of it. Hope the launch is as smooth as possible for you!
So much THIS. It's a big group with a huge mix of skillsets and responsibilities. Thanks for your support!
Hey can you maybe check mine as well.. Same problem.. SirRebelRabbit
Done!
I hope this link is ok, I’m currently on mobile and the link is the exact device but on eBay. The turtle beach website has too many pop ups. https://www.ebay.ie/itm/123603920312
And I was connected via the digital optical port.
This is going to sound dumb, but have you tried swapping the optical cables? Is your PS4 set to linear PCM or an encoded format like DTS or Dolby?
I've tried it with and without a VPN, with DMZ on on my router, with my phone tethered for internet, nothing seems to have worked.
Origin ID is Musluk if that helps.
Also forwarded.
I was just trying to see if something worked.
I get No Sound at all even from boot.
I have just booted up Apex to see if it's an Origin issue and I get sound in that game.
I have updated the Album on the previous link to for screenshots. Anything specific you want?
Oh and change your speaker configuration to Stereo to match your sound card settings.

Now I'm confused lol - it looks like the digital output is active from those screens. Apex is not running on Frostbite so it makes sense that they could have different behaviour.
Can you send me pics of the settings for 'Room Correction', 'Sonic Studio' and 'Default Format'?
It's awesome your team is so interactive and so fast to reply to those with issues. This is such a positive experience compared to the support we're used to with most devs, keep it up guys!
Stellar support <3
Thanks. It's a big game with a LOT of variables that can go wrong - our goal is to help as much as possible and solve everything (given enough time). The key is work WITH our player base to identify, explain and then hopefully fix every issue we can.

So from your settings it looks like it's connected via optical? Can you check the other enhance settings on the sound card, is anything enabled there?
Hello sir, Thought you deserved a follow up regardless of the delay. So first off apologies on the delay I’ve been working a lot, and also had a trip up the country for a few days. Anyway, I did the troubleshooting and found it didn’t actually do any damage to my PS4. But it did damage my turtle beach mix amp pro.
So here is how the mix amp works, it has 4 settings on the back depending on which system you are using. I use two of these, one for the PC, and the other for the PS4. What they do is simply control the different settings required for the system. For example, when I am set to PC and using the PS4 my audio is fine but the chat is very low. After the demo weekend, my PS4 audio is now permanently “crackling” when set to the PS4 setting, but when on my PC with it set to PC it is fine. In the end I can no longer use the mix amp for my PS4.
Have you guys had any other reports of this kind of thing occurring?

Thanks for the follow up. I will need to do some research on the specific device you mentioned, but will continue to look into it for a potential solution. Is is connected via HDMI? Optical? USB?
Might not be an ideal fix but plugging them in worked, then when I unplugged them it was all fine!
Could be the sample rate being updated on the sound card by detecting the change in output. No idea how to repro but I am happy that it's working!

That helps - are you listening on a surround sound setup? Reason I ask is that TV as a preset is generally used for TV speakers.
Either way, those settings should never cause this. Are you getting no sound on boot? Did it cut out while playing?
Can you take captures of your windows audio output device settings?
no they have both :) I should try both?
Yeah try plugging them in analog and reboot the game. Curious if it's specifically bluetooth and that will help us reproduce locally to see what's going on.
Directly after confirming settings and pressing space from the start menu.
Again, not my wheelhouse but the old bug was during the load screen and this 'sounds' like a connection issue. I have forwarded the report to our live ops team. @Sklurm what's your Origin ID?
I received this as well. Right before reaching Matthias. SoundBlaster Recon3Di onboard audio. Stereo speakers.
Switching to a browser real quick to play a video yielded audio just fine. No audio in game.
Switching to my Logitech G933 Gaming Headset and Surround audio setting in the game menu did not fix it.
Going back to fort Tarsis did not fix it. Had to restart game.
Yeah, sorry. This is that issue and is mostly fixed in the day 1 patch. Thanks for your patience guys, I know it sucks.
Bluetooth, it affects more than just gameplay. In cutscenes everything was slow (video included), to the point where if I'd not skipped I'd be watching the pregame part for a solid hour or so...
Do you have a headphone cable or are they bluetooth only? Dialogue is using audio as a 'guide' track so it would make sense that faster or slower playback would also affect cinematics.
Still nothing after verifying game settings.

Can you take a screen capture of the repro? Audio settings, launching the game, etc? More info will help us.
