Tech Blog articles are aimed at engineers and other high-level tech knowledge developers. So they don't often get much traffic on Reddit since they're written for an entirely different audience.
Will some Redditors like and understand them? Yes. But the goal is for most of the tech to go above the average person's head.
Unfortunately the amazing and super smart tech writer who ran the Tech Blog left Riot and she hasn't been backfilled since it's a very, very niche and specialized role (deep technical understanding AND strong editorial-style writing skills). So even normal Tech Writers (who often index in documentation) may not fill the exact needs of the Tech Blog.

I have a colleque at work who has the same name and a similar surname to mine, we're a similar age, he's from the town next to mine and used to work in my departement before I got here. We regularly get emails intended for the other one, but we're so used to it we just forward them xD
My little brother also works at Riot and the way our emails are formatted I sometimes get stuff for him.

I message each of them when I'm trying to talk to the other one. It's virtually a weekly occurrence.
Correction: Riot Truexy and Riot Phroxzon*, Phlox was in the chat. Everyone starting their names with ph- confused me, lol.
I constantly message the wrong one in the League client so you're not alone.
Can yoi confirm tho if you can select different audio and text language. Or will it be an overall selection where it changes both regardless.

I hope some feedback is appreciated, but this type of format is way inferior than the livestreams one. Plus, a lot of the content of the videos was just “thoughts” of stuff, and not new content. Much less new announcements that before.

We wanted to try something new because we don't usually give the devs a chance to wax poetic about their work. But if it isn't resonating then it isn't resonating and we'll go back to the drawing board for next time!

what do you mean by three direction spread that was standard?
In the past we've shared some of the classic early concept spreads that show three different directions for a character. It's usually three spreads (but sometimes there are more) because three is just a perfect number :)
