Hey there, this is a visual bug with the Match Summary screen. Some challenges, particularly the NBR ones are not being tracked properly on this screen, and can often show as completing even when you have only made partial progress.

So in this case you haven't completed the challenges, but all your progress is correctly tracked.

So far this season I've just been manually tracking my challenges and stars from the lobby screen, and hopefully the fix for this rolls out soon.

Someone seemingly did.  Not a lot, seemingly just about enough to get Octane and some bonus packs from that event, with the account going quiet again until you started playing again a couple of weeks ago. 

If there's no chance this could be you (or the cliche of a little brother or friend who played on the account, obviously we're not for account-sharing but it does happen) then it's worth taking standard account security steps like changing your password for Apex and any accounts which share the same password.

Hey there, back in February as part of the Anniversary celebration we had some challenges which let folks unlock characters and matching thematic packs. In this case @MRvillager01 you unlocked Octane then.

So he's yours to play with as you wish.

Thank you for the posts. What would be the most useful would be if folks can get a clip that shows the entire match from the dropship, then finishing and showing the badge not earned. I know that's quite specific and trickier to get than some screenshots, but hopefully it's something someone can get. 

If your friend earned a trail Ranked series 1 or 2 (Apex Season 2 or 3) then the trails are permanent.

All other earned trails are only usable for the season after they're acquired.

The actual trail graphics themselves are re-used (presumably to stop needing 26 trails and counting) and this may be the point of confusion. The permanent trail unlock is not achievable past Feb 2020.

@FreshPepprToni @mattplier Hi there, i see you have progressed past level 2 at this point, hopefully i can clarify what's happened. 

The Match Summary screen is currently bugged and can tell you that you've levelled up (even repeatedly) when you didn't. Actual progress is correctly tracked and nothing is lost, but the Match Summary bugs are leading to a lot of understandable confusion.

@PrOMnIsToRaS Hi there, what you're seeing is a bug with the Match Summary screen. In your example, you actually had 2/10 stars starting the match, but the Match Summary screen acted like you had more.

This can lead to all sorts of confusion, so for now your best option is to use the lobby tracker to keep an eye on your progress. With this you'll see your stars are being correctly granted.

Hey, can you change your skin from Wastelander? This should stop the issue from manifesting for now. There's a fix in the works, at which point you can swap back to this skin.

That's a very strange one alright. It also doesn't seem to want to give you your time and damage XP.

It's unlikely we'll be able to grant the badge - it's not something we have tools for- but the XP screen might hint at what happened here.

By any chance do you happen to have a clip of the end of the match, including the summary screens? If you run the networking info panel, be sure to include some gameplay towards the end of the match as it'll show an ID number we can use.

@NotSundance Hey there, I think this is a simple mixup, The Pioneer and Wasteland Finery are Kraber skins. Can you check your Kraber inventory for them?

No, there's no advantage to continuing the challenges once you've maxed out your BP.

Hey, I think we saw this get flagged a little while back, but it's small enough that it wouldn't have made it into the patch notes. We'll check after the S14 release and raise it again if necessary.

@Werawulfaz Hi, it looks like there's a mixup here, I can see 7 packs bought, then opened within a relatively short period of time, so it looks like you got to all the packs before you jumped into your next game.
