I understand - I’ve raised this with our Console Developers and hope to have some advice for you soon.

This appears to be a GPU-related crash. Please run through the solutions here: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360034654593--PC-How-to-Resolve-GPU-Crashes

Hey @Jacoomis, admittedly we’re scratching our heads over this! It looks like you’ve continued levelling since, is that right?

We’re looking in to what could have caused this, and wanted to apologise for the inconvenience.

Hmmm no indication of any account issues here! :frowning:

Could you try the other solutions on this page, if you haven’t already? Changing the DNS, etc.?: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360034654113--PC-How-to-Resolve-SIGN-IN-TIMEOUT-COULDNT-CONNECT-CONNECTION-TIMEOUT-COULDNT-RESOLVE-HOST-Errors-

Apologies for the delayed response. It sounds like you’ve tried a lot of what we would recommend already.

Switch back to NAT Type 2, if NAT Type 3 is currently active.

Did the same errors occur whilst connected to your mobile data hotspot?

Not strictly an issue, but we can understand the confusion.

Looks like a potentially incomplete installation, please Verify Integrity of Game Files using the instructions below, and see if the issue persists:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
  6. Launch Vermintide 2

Could you upload the associated console log, please?

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

Our service provider was particularly unstable over the weekend. Because of that, it’s hard to know whether your issues are the result of that or if something else is at play. Would recommend that you continue to monitor it over the next couple of weeks.

You’re very welcome! Pleased to hear that sorted it.

Hm, it’s odd that you would encounter this particular crash on attempting to connect to others.

Could you try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu down to 6?

Comment

Sorry to hear this @Jobogriff. I understand you’ve already ran through the solutions on the page dedicated to this error, which is what we would usually recommend.

Did you contact your ISP, and if so, what did they say?

Could you please include a copy of the crash report produced?

Please see the response from development below:

It’s impossible for us to diagnose the root cause, but all the provided evidence is pointing towards the routing between you and your friend being faulty somehow. Contacting your ISP about this issue might help provide an avenue for identifying the faulty element. Beyond this advice, it doesn’t look like there is anything more we can do to help unfortunately. Apologies.

Are you using Avast or AVG Anti-Virus?

We are discussing this internally - but are unable to come to a conclusion as of yet. Will update accordingly.
