We’re looking in to this. We’re not sure why this is suddenly such a prominent issue. Before anything, and this is aimed at everybody here experiencing this issue, please ensure you’ve tried the solutions below:

  • Restarting Steam
  • Restarting your PC
  • Clearing Steam’s download cache
  • Changing Steam’s download region
  • Ensuring the appropriate Firewall/Anti-Virus exceptions are in place for both Vermintide 2 and our anti-cheat service, Easy Anti-Cheat

And, of course, please ensure you have the latest updates installed as 1.6.1 was released earlier.

Please keep me posted.

  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\crash_dumps

This is a result of you playing on the modded realm unfortunately. Progression is halted on the modded realm to prevent exploitation.

I’d recommend that you switch over to the normal realm, there’s a variety of sanctioned mods that can be used in the normal realm.

To confirm, you’ve been playing Bögenhafen prior to this with no issues? Could you PM me your Xbox Gamertag please?

Comment

@martin.madalik Are you able to PM me your Xbox Gamertag, please? One of our console crew will look in to it, but unfortunately being a Friday there’s likely to be a delay until Monday. Sorry about this.

Good evening! I’m here to shed some light on where we’re at with console. In recent months we’ve lost some key members of our console crew which has, unfortunately, really set us back. It was never our intention to have our console players wait this long.

The upcoming patches will include the Mondstille event, mutators, a server browser (PS4 only) and a bunch of other changes. The patches have been submitted (both Xbox One and PS4) and we’re waiting on approval from the big boys before it can be set live. So, hopefully, you won’t be waiting much longer.

We hear your concerns and we’re very, very sorry for the wait. I know there’s only so much apologising we can do and actions speak louder than words, but please bear with us.

This should no longer be an issue, we had another server hiccup around the time of your post. :frowning: Could you let me know if this is still occurring for any of you please?

Locking post as I’ve responded to your query via the Support Portal. My response may be in your ‘Spam’ inbox.

These issues have arisen for some players as a result of recent instabilities with PSN. These issues will pass as PSN continues to stabilise. We’re working on preventative measures to avoid this happening again, apologies for the inconvenience.

We have a patch coming very soon, which we hope will help with this. Please let me know if this is still an issue for you after the patch.

I can see your GPU doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for Vermintide 2 which could well be contributing to the crashes. Although your GPU is newer, it isn’t quite as powerful as the minimum requirement being the older GTX 460.

However, it’s unclear as to whether this is the main culprit! The crashes you’re experiencing are called Access Violations, and we have a list of potential solutions for this particular crash here which I’d recommend you run through....
