Great, I’ve refunded the item pictured in your previous reply.

Hello, I have refunded the ‘Eluvia Sartok’ set. However, unfortunately, the remaining items appear to have been purchased outside of our 30-day refund window. Apologies.

I’m unable to locate the purchase, could you double-check that the provided Steam ID is correct, please?

I’ve queried this, and this is the information I’ve received:

Certain attacks cannot be blocked (unless with the Ogryn Slab Shield or the Devil’s Claw special parry):

  • Scab Mauler Overhead
  • Crusher Overhead
  • Plague Ogryn Foot Stomp
  • Plague Ogryn Slam
  • Beast of Nurgle Melee
  • Scab Captain 1h Great Slash
  • Scab Captain 2h Slam
  • Scab Captain 2h Overhead

The Mauler and Crusher Overhead in particular have also a spillover mechanic where they can deal damage to health even at 100% Toughness:

Melee Spillover : Melee attacks with this tag will deal their remaining damage to health if they pierce your toughness without having inflicted their full base damage. Additionally, they will always deal at least 25% of their damage to your health, regardless of current toughness percentage.

Since they deal a huge amount of damage, it’s not unlikely to be one-shotte...

The purchase was unfortunately made outside of our 30-day refund window, meaning unfortunately we won’t be able to assist in this case, apologies.

I’ve had a quick look at your account and it looks like the Contract Tasks are now progressing, is it not showing for you in the UI?

No problem, all done.

To rule out any weirdness from Windows Defender to start with, could you try this?:

  1. Navigate to ‘Windows Security’
  2. Select ‘Virus & Thrat protection’
  3. Select ‘Manage Settings’
  4. Scroll down to ‘Exclusions’ and select ‘Add or remove exclusions’
  5. Add the Folder: Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE

I’ve sent you a DM with the reason why.

Could you try this below, please?

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Open user_settings.config
  5. Change ray_tracing = true to ray_tracing = false
  6. Save your changes
  7. Play Darktide as normal

I think this might be outside of what we can help with unfortunately - I would recommend contacting NVIDIA as they will be best equipped to advise on next steps.

Certainly try deleting your user_settings.config if you’ve manually edited it.

You will need to disable Steam Cloud Saving to start with, otherwise it will automatically restore the user_settings.config:

  1. Navigate to your Steam library
  2. Right-click Darktide
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
  5. Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’

Thanks for the information! I think, what they’re asking in Bilibili is for players to contact us via our official support channels which include here, or https://fatshark.se/support, but I am using a translation service so I may be wrong.

It’s my understanding the Bilibili account is only used for promotional content or announcements, so it’s always best to contact us here if you need to speak to somebody.

Could you DM me with the URL to your Steam profile, please?

Sure, all done.

I think the issues are separate. For your buddy, it sounds like his Anti-Virus is quarantining part of the Darktide installation. I expect this is the Darktide.exe, and he is using Avast, based on similar reports I’ve read recently.

I understand you have some overheating issues which is usually hardware-related. Have you experimented by rolling back to the previous driver?

Hello Kanade, when did you pre-order Darktide?

I am also not aware of any accounts on Bilibili.com that are intended to provide support for Darktide, so the best place to contact us is here or over at https://fatshark.se/support.
