It would be very much appreciated if you could upload the console log associated with this session, so our Engine Developers can look in to this.

Thank you - all done!

Certainly, though I’m having some trouble locating your account. Could you share your Fatshark Account Name or Friend Code with me please?

Yep, all done!

We are aware of and looking in to this issue, and certainly it does seem to be especially prevalent when a VPN is being used.

I’ve shared your crash report with the developer handling the issue, and I hope we can make progress on this soon.

You can usually resolve this issue by deleting Darktide’s local save data on your console, could you try this and let me know the result please?

This is a conventional Access Violation crash which unfortunately doesn’t include any clues as to what could be causing it.

I understand you’ve tried many solutions already, is there anything in here that you haven’t explored yet?:

Having the same Curio equipped in separate slots is a known issue to us and will prevent loadouts saving correctly. So, the best course of action is to unequip the duplicate.

I’ve restored the only two Transcendent items I was able to locate. I hope this helps.

Try uninstalling reshade, then proceed to delete your user_settings.config. Please be aware this will remove any custom keybindings, so you may want to make a back-up in the event it doesn’t work.

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Delete the user_settings.config

NOTE: If Steam Cloud saving is enabled for Darktide, this may automatically restore the AppData and consequently cause the error to resurface. You can disable Steam Cloud Saving for Darktide via the Steam client by:

  1. Navigate to your Steam library
  2. Right-click Darktide
  3. Select ‘Properties’
  4. On the ‘General’ tab, scroll down to ‘Steam Cloud’
  5. Disable ‘Keep game saves in the Steam Cloud for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’

Hello! Have you tried changing your chosen display via the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu?

It is a bit of a shot in the dark admittedly, and more work needs to be done to eliminate these errors on our end. However, the solutions in the article linked below may help in this case:

It looks like a corrupted installation to me. Please use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

All done for you.

It looks like you’re having an issue with the Visual C++ Redistributables. Please:

  1. Uninstall the Visual C++ 2019 Redistributables
  2. Reinstall the Visual C++ 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 Redistributables: Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn
  • You may be prompted with an option to repair, as opposed to install. In which case, you may proceed with the option to repair

Should all be sorted now - let me know if you have any problems!

Sorry about that! This is a known issue of ours but we’ve not yet been able to replicate it on our end!

Our refunding system works a bit strangely – I have to refund the entire sets, and then re-add the items you had purchased previously.

Could you make sure all items from both sets are unequipped and let me know once done?
