Hey @Yoda,

If you played on your own Steam profile using library sharing, then your progression should be intact if you purchase your own Vermintide 2 license for the same profile you played on through family sharing.

I assume right now you and your son already have different levels of progression, but just aren’t able to play at the same time?

Ok, so I’ve come across other similar player reports occurring during the Twins weekly event. I’ve flagged this internally for a deeper look. Thanks again for the report!

Hi @Bristly ,

Thanks for the report!

It appears to be a non-descript Access Violation crash, which could be an unlucky one-off in this situation. Let us know if you come across this again, though.

Hi @DoctorEB1,

Looking at your console logs, your default GPU set is Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 which is likely resulting in these crashes as it cannot handle the demand.

Do you have another GPU that it should be detecting?

If so, you can follow these steps:

  • Ensure your monitors are plugged in to the dedicated (as opposed to the integrated) GPU ports on the back of your PC
  • Perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers using the appropriate instructions below:
    • For AMD GPUs: ...

We’re planning to patch very soon - should be within the next 48 hours. Keep an eye out!

This particular error required a code fix, though I don’t know the specific details of what the triggers were.

Once the patch is live, if you wouldn’t mind confirming if the crash is resolved it would be appreciated!

Sorry for the delayed response @theDan

Looking at your console logs, I believe the error you’re encountering is one that we have a fix in the works for. Our next patch should resolve this one.

Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime!

Hi @Wightwind , we had a server outage. It should be returning to normal now.

Do you still get the error 1127?

Comment

Backend is currently having a wobbly. We’re looking into it now!

Comment

@Frostysir I think you’re referring to error code 1127, which is when downtime occurs, sometimes with Steam which has been having a few hiccups recently, or with our backend. It tends to resolve itself after a short period.

Hi @theDan

Thank you for the report and apologies for the inconvenience. I’ll pass this along to our development team to investigate.

Could you also please upload your console log file from the session you experienced these crashes? It would be very helpful and much appreciated if you can. Thanks!

Hi @GrimReaper_Raphi

Could you try enabling the in-game option ‘Smart Network Packets’ in the ‘Network’ panel and see if this has any positive effect? (Note, this can’t be used in combination with the ‘Player List Plus’ mod, as they conflict.)

If not, you’ve mentioned trying a few solutions already, but can I confirm if you have tried all possible solutions in this article?

Can you please post a screenshot of what is displayed.

Thanks!

This is unfortunately a side effect of how our physics work and not something we can resolve easily.

Hi @lSkillsl

Usually errors like this are due to hiccups in the backend, which are short-lived and resolve on their own. Do you still get a server error when attempting to play?

If so, what is the exact error that is shown to you on-screen?

Sorry about this! A number of weave crashes, including this one, are on our radar and are being investigated.

Hi @PsychoDad ,

Looking at your logs, you’re encountering three different errors. A non-descript Access Violation crash and two others, Illegal instruction and Breakpoint, which can be a little notorious. I’ve passed your logs along to our development team to take a deeper look.

In the meantime, it is worth running through some general crash solutions that have worked for other players here, which may help to improve stability:

But why?
Is there a specific reason?

It’s just a design choice.

Me and a friend rolled our charms a combined number of around 600 times and couldn’t get this combination

Can confirm - not a possible combination!
