Hi @manjuu,

Sorry for the delay getting back to you!

Our Engine Developers were able to take a deeper look at this, and determined that the crash dumps show f_sps.dll which is DRM software called “Fasoo”. They recommend to remove this software which should hopefully resolve this.

Please let me know how it goes.

Hi @Ancalagon,

Sorry to hear this. Sometimes it’s possible for DLC to become temporarily desynced with the backend - especially if you’ve returned from a break.

Can you please try restarting Vermintide 2 (possible a few times) and check if the DLC becomes available to you again?

If not, can you please provide me with your Xbox Gamertag so we can take a look at your account in the backend.

Please let me know how it goes!

Hi @NoMoreRush,

This happens with our players from countries such as Turkey and Argentina due to prices dropping beneath Steam’s set threshold during a sale period, unfortunately!

Hi @ValkyrUmbra,

Sorry to hear this.

From what you describe (Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000E)) there appears to be a conflict with EAC going on. Can you please try disabling any RGB controller software if you use any and see if this helps?

I can also recommend performing a Selective Startup, which can help diagnose whether a background application is resulting in the issue. This can be performed by:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC
  6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal

If the issue no longer persists after having performed the Sel...

@iceman,

Thank you for the update and the additional information. I’ve passed this on to our development team to investigate. Could you please also provide us with your Steam profile URL? (e.g https://steamcommunity.com/id/FatsharkLev/)

Thanks in advance!

Ah nice one! Glad to hear the issue is resolved and thanks for sharing how

Thanks @Fashinok! That’s super helpful. I’ve passed these screenshots on internally and we’ll continue investigating. Apologies that I don’t have an immediate solution, and thank you for your patience.

Unfortunately not - our investigation was unable to uncover any common factors or correlation between reports. What we did notice was that occurences of these errors sharply dropped off and seemingly improved.

If you haven’t already, then I recommend to try our connectivity solutions, here:

I wonder if this might be mod-related. I can’t determine which one specifically from the log, but can you please try disabling all mods and see if the issue persists?

This specific crash is on our radar and we’re working to resolve it.

Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.

Hi @S0L0,

I believe I’ve already replied to your thread on the Vermintide 2 Steam forums

Will copy my respose below here too:

Thanks for the log! It’s a shot in the dark, but I can see some unusual references around the time you experience the COULDNT_RESOLVE_HOST error.

Can you please try the following:

  1. Ensure you have the latest Steam client updates and Windows updates installed

  2. Disable any Razer Chroma plugins/software

Please let me know if the errors persist after or not.

Comment

This one may be mod-related. I can see multiple errors in the log pertaining to the Crosshair Kill Confirmation mod. Please try disabling this (and possibly all mods) and check if the issue persists.

Good suggestion above. I recommend monitoring your temps while playing.

You may find potential solutions here helpful too:

I suspect this crash is mod-related. I can see an unusual reference for UI Tweaks so I recommend to try disabling this first. Failing that, please try disabling all mods and re-introducing them 1-by-1.

Please let me know how it goes!

Hi @manjuu,

Sorry to hear this.

This specific crash is on our radar and we’re currently working to resolve it.

Also, the experimental branch has now been updated - can you please check this again and see if the issue persists using this?

Good initial suggestion above, please try Verifying Integrity of Game Files:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

If the issue persists, please can you provide us with a console log from a session the issue occurs so we can take a look:

Hi @General_Kenobi,

EAC released a small update last week, and another yesterday - so I believe this may be related to that.

Some other players have had a similar issue, and found that by restarting Steam or Verifying Integrity of Game Files the issue resolved (though EAC still loaded slowly initially and needed a short wait) - I recommend trying this.

To Verify Integrity of Game Files:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Please let me know how you get on.
