Yep, the roll back didn’t help everyone. Some folks reported reparing EAC from the game installation directory can help. The process is found here, and we’ll keep updating that page as we find out more.

Hey folks! We’re looking in to this one. Seems some funk between Steam itself and EAC, Steam did a rollback of an update noting EAC as a reason. We’re seeing what we need to do (or can do) on our side to see this resolved ASAP.

Thanks for your patience and sorry for the trouble caused.

If you're on PS5, try:

  • Open PS5.
  • Head to your Games Library.
  • Select the game you are having trouble with and press the options button.
  • Select “Manage Game Content”.
  • Now, you will be able to see all the data that you have installed of that particular game to date.
  • After Scrolling Down, you will see some files that you have downloaded but have not installed.
  • So here, all you have to do is click on the install button, present in front of the files
  • Now, if you have installed all the files, but they are still not showing up in the game, delete them and install them again. This shouldn't be a tiny install since it's just a licence -- the content itself is in the main installation.

I believe there is a similar process on Xbox Series S|X but I'm not particularly familiar with the interface.

Edit: Google suggests

  • If your game is running, shut it down.
  • Press the Menu bu...

Nope, but this is as Adelion says a natural (but correct still) answer. In a vacuum, we make things we think or hope people will enjoy, with varying degrees of success.

The topic of balance in a game like VT is reaaaally wild. A lot of ‘horde coop games’ have different skillsets to those you find in Verm. Most are predominantly shooters with shooter bal...

Hey! When copying your profile from online to offline, it replaces the offline profile with a snapshot of the online one.

It doesn't merge the online progression in to the offline one, too many variables and edge cases to consider there.

It's up now, sorry for the lag!

The changes for the curious on PS5 are:

  • 30fps -> 60fps
  • 1080p -> 1440p
  • Improved shadow quality
  • More shadow casting lights
  • Higher density scattering
  • Screen space reflections

Udpate:

We’re trying to get this patch rolled back so players can play, OR, have it hotfixed - whichever we can do quicker to resolve the issue. We have it fixed and the new update being built but it depends on what can be done on a quicker turnaround - either pulling the patch or hotfixing. We’ll know more in the AM.

Again, sorry for the trouble caused.

It's a thing, but PS5 and PS4 Pro owners will find Chaos Wastes largely unplayable due to a UI issue on the Map interface. Heroes!

Today we put out a new update for PS4. However, due to an issue with the Chaos Wastes map that renders the game mode unplayable for a subset of players, we are working with Sony to roll this back.

Meanwhile work is underway to get a corrected version out to you all soon. Our apologies for the trouble - in particular to those who have already acquired the latest update. We’ll update here as we go through the process.

Heroes,

Welcome to version 1.23 (and hotfix 1.24)! Including various fixes and adjustments, this update also seeks to enhance the experience for players on PlayStation 5. Faster frame rates and higher resolution are the headline changes, but lighting and shadows have been buffed as well. Full notes can be found in the main patch notes that follow:

You are able to install Windows on these, so would likely be the avenue you'd need to take to run V2 on there in the official realm.
